I started reading this over at nfiction.net...I'm actually glad I found it here. Very angsty, but you do offer balance to the angst with some very sweet moments. I love your use of details and...I just drew a blank on what else I was gonna say...I'm very impressed by your writing style...I'll have to look and see what else you've written, though I'm not familiar with Gundam Wing...Good luck with your goal of writing. As for comments on the plot: this could be a majorly creepy story, but you manage to avoid that, partially by keeping it realistic....I look forward to what you will do with this story...I want to see it end...I want to see Zaizen get what's coming to him....I want to see the three poor boys get their revenge. I really liked that you had Michael try to comfort Amon...that was a sweet moment. Keep up the good work :D

I am *sooooo* sorry about the late review! It's just that after reading the first few paragraphs, I couldn't take it, my stomach hurt so bad. I just had to wait for the right time to actually sit down and have a clear mind about it, and also for when times were a bit less stressful (I've got a very nervous tummy.)

Okay. First off, I felt really angry. I was thinking...sure Zaizen's a well-kept kinda guy, you know...I'm sure he's pretty burly when it all boils down, and that he's sure to pack power behind his punches, *but*...compared to Amon (that fine, fine *fine* piece of man meat, a guy who you just know is packing major *major* heat) when push comes to shove, my money's on Amon. And there would be no greater pleasure in life than seeing Amon knock the living snot out of Zaizen. I felt this way even before I got halfway through with Witch Hunter Robin, way back when it first came on tv, and before I knew anything about it, really. Zaizen just looked like a snot pompous piece of garbage and I didn't like the way the handsome Amon just kinda stood there acting all passive, when, if I were him, I would have popped Zaizen one big time if he looked at me the wrong way, or spoke down at me. ::stews about it a little longer::

...I'm getting off track.... ::deep breath:: back to the review....

I was angry because I really wanted Amon to kick major Zaizen tail, but this was just because it’s been something that I’ve really wanted to see happen. But, of course it didn’t happen. Instead, it’s so much more than that. There’s so much going on with Amon, and it’s easy to think it’s simple, but it’s so complex. That what makes this story so awesome…that it’s not ‘glamorized’ or something meant to be taken lightly….there’s some real serious shit going on here. And knowing what’s going on, finally…even though they’re just words, it’s so much more intense than that. Reading this, I feel so consumed, like I’m there, and I can feel the heaviness of the situation and the pain and the hurt and I can hear everything and see their expressions and just…it’s such an experience. (It doesn’t help that I have an over-active imagination, but it’s nice to know that the hyper little fella comes in handy every once in a while, especially when it’s properly provoked, like with a good book…or fanfiction in this case)

Gah! This is getting long and there’s so much more I wanted to say about the whole situation with Sakaki’s sister and ::sniff:: the tension Zaizen left them with at the end, but gah!...Okay…I’ve leave with one more thing, which I feel is most important to me.

Seeing Amon being taken advantage of really made my blood boil because…on the outside looking in, it just seemed so improbable. In this one anime I can’t live without, Weiß Kreuz, there’s this assassin named Aya whose weapon of choice is a sword. There’s this guy who did him wrong in the past and he’s steaming pissed and wants revenge on the guy, and when he finally gets to get it (on a burning rooftop with the evil guy trying to escape by helicopter) I was so excited that he would finally get his comeuppance. Aya goes to strike him with his sword, and then, out of no where, the evil guy gets a sword and starts winning over Aya, and I’m staring at the change, mouth agape, thinking ‘there’s no way in hell!!!’ That’s exactly how I felt about the whole Amon/Zaizen situation. But now I feel, after having read everything, that Amon’s got a lot of baggage and that Michael’s a good way in to having the same type of baggage. So…then I looked at Sakaki and now…I’m a little more towards Sakaki being the one that takes control…almost like its become his battle and he has to fend for the others as well as himself and I’m behind him one hundred percent. ::makes a fist:: Ganbatte, ne, Sakaki-kun! As Aya says, the devil never sleeps! So get Zaizen (aka the devil) and knock his lights out for good.

::runs and ducks behind a rock, as it’s now her turn:: Please don’t get mad about the length. I just couldn’t help it, this story is just…stupefying-ly awesome and I’m (literally) on the edge of my seat waiting for more. ::to self:: I didn’t know people actually did things like that….maybe you should scoot back a little…

You know what would make my world complete? Another update to this fic. You know what would make that update even better? More Michael humiliation and abuse. Man, it’s fun to be a kink.

It's very rare I come across a well-written story that combines plot, accurate and well-done characterization, and smut in one clean, professional package. I have to say, I'm quite pleased I came across this story when I did - after a long, grueling project. I needed some rest, and to read some fanfiction (which I've been neglecting to do lately, but not of my own accord), so I was quite happy when I found Power and Control. I read four of the chapters in about half-an-hour, then I printed out the rest - I just couldn't leave it alone. I was up until two, but in a very good mood when I woke up. Thank you!

I love how your story is compelling in many ways; The violence is not gratuitous, the sexual abuse is graphically written, and your characterization is flawless. The situation you have put Sakaki, Michael, and Amon is seems to be perfect for portraying their individual and very contrasting characters. Amon, the "stoic leader". I quite liked the part of his break-down, since it gives the reader insight into a part of his life that he tried so hard to cover up. It also gives the (truthful) impression that sexual abuse can leave even the strongest person crumpled and withered.

You accurately portray Sakaki as a headstrong individual, who is often too reckless for his own good. In the tenth chapter, especially (since I just re-read it -- Sakaki being forced to suck Amon off? Beautiful; makes him sound more helpless than he thinks he is). Sakaki was arguing that he could have stopped Zaizen, but in all reality he doesn't know that. He even mentioned earlier that Zaizen was a good fifty pounds heavier, and the first time he tried to fight Zaizen he was sorely disappointed. He is only one person, but I think he feels he's a giant. Michael seems to have a good grasp on that, and though Micahel (in the series) is normally not so "withdrawn" (for lack of a better word), under the circumstances his personality is understandable. But when he is not being abused, he's funny and more - normal. Perhaps he's much stronger than he thinks he is, and he'll end up proving this later.

Zaizen is so evil. I hate him, but I love how he's written here. Ruthless, perverted old man - who seems to act/be younger than he is, but I suppose that's what makes people fear/respect him. I mean, what kind of man trains his male lackeys to be sex slaves? I can only see Zaizen as capable of pulling it off.

Overall, this story is written in such a way that makes it beautiful, shocking, and disturbing - but compelling just the same. I wonder what will happen to Sakaki. I hope something good happens for Amon too... and I hope that Michael realizes he must fight for his dignity.

    I await further chapters! ^_^

BTW, an Amon, Sakaki, and Michael centred story? Brilliant.

Ok, I'm reviewing from 1-10 and in a general summery because it would be too difficult to review one by one...here we go...

first off, well done, this is a difficult subject and you have so far up to this point done it well...it is hard to do a rape fic with out rushing it, or making it seem fake or offending people. you managed not to do this at all which is really good...but I think I've allready said this lol. I really like the Sakaki Michael pairing you're using...(I love that pairing) and you are correct, Amon would be extensively submissive to the one who abused him. good job with the way Michael and the way you've been portraying him. and the same with Sakaki. the main charactors you are using are extreamly within the range of their allready developed charactor personality. and you've done a really good job at making Zaizan even more of a monster than what he was originally. I have read many fanfictions in many different areas from Band to Anime, to book, and more, and I do not hesitate to say that this is deffinantly one of the best fics I have ever read and probably the best Rape fic I have read...and at this moment I have no critisisms to offer you, keep it up!

now that I'm done stroking your ego I will await the next chapter with anticipation *plops self on chair in front of computer and waits*

Your fic is totally hot. I have trouble seeing Amon so... submissive, but it's forgivable. If I knew you, I'd give you a nice long kiss.
