This is a fantastic blend! You have taken the most memorable character of Azumanga Daioh and given her a belivable future - off course she will have to work with animals. And then you have paired her of with Kyo and Hatori from Furuba, a great, no greatest idea. I'm so glad I found this! Most amazing. Well written! Thanks for sharing!

I love this story, and your other ones too. The rant at the end was awesome. Bravo.

People, gender confusion is common. While Akito is a masculine name, "he" is a she. Shocking! hahaha go look the manga up, it's in there.

And honestly, it's a FANFIC, created by a FAN. not meant to be taken so seriously.Just enjoy the good reading.

This was a lovely story, I really got into the characterisation that you provided, and followed the nice chapter structure.

Good work, and don't worry about those people who flame your review pages with nitpicks, I've had some unkind reviews, and I know how you feel a little. You are a good author dispite what they say, and you write good stories, like this one!

Good work, and please keep writing more! I can't wait to read your next one!

    Arigatou!

Love the story!!! It's very well done. The only missdoing that stood out was that Akito is a male, not a female. Other than that it's amazing!!!

re: Lemon drops, I'm going by the anime. I haven't read the manga. And, Akito is a quite masculine name.

I still loved this fic, though.

Oh and I loved the fact that the nitpicking point about Akito was wrong. They obviously have not gotten to upper 90's chapters in Fruits Basket...but I'm not going to spoil it for them.

I thought your fic was absolutely wonderful. Its probably the only slash that I have ever liked.

Good writing overall on this piece. Very romantic, and the sex scene was both erotic and moving. Plus, you do score points for not going with the obvious pairing (i.e. Kyo).

    Nitpicks I have, though.

First, "Yamamaya" is the cat's name; its species is "Iriomote yamaneko" (Iriomote mountain cat).

Second, Souma Akito is male, not female. I know the males in Fruits Basket are rather feminine-looking, but the name says it all; "Akito" is an unmistakably masculine name. (see next point)

Third, you seem to be mistaken about the gender-identity of names in Japan. "Akito" is a quite masculine name. Unfortunately, "Azuma" is also masculine - and not only so, but it is a family name, as in the case of Azumanga Daioh's creator, Azuma Kiyohiko.

Finally, a minor nitpick: leaving a tip in Japanese restaurants is a mistake. They don't have that tradition there. In some places, leaving a tip will offend the owner (by the implication that the owner doesn't pay their staff a proper wage); in others, they will assume the customer accidentally left the money. In fact, a friend of mine once had a waitress chase him a whole block to return his tip, and admonished him to be more careful where he left his money.

In any case, I hope this review is appreciated. I did write it intending to inform and to criticize constructively. If I failed at that, I'm sorry. If I succeeded, I'm glad. Either way, I look forward to reading more of your work!
