awww..very cute and sweet! I love the descriptions of the outfits and how they complimented their skin tones. And the cuteness of them eating the muffins, even thought they were little burned. Nice job! :)

Brilliant writing. I've just recently started reading Haru wo Daiteita, and absolutely love the series! You've astutely captured Katou's playfulness, and Iwaki's inner reflections... I do hope you'll be continuing with this fanfic... it's too good to let go! :)

Hullo! not to ruin your story, but if its the picture I'm thinking of, thats a shuucream -- its like a little mini cream puff. I doubt anyone actually bakes them, they're readily available in even a regular supermarket and VERY yummy. But shhh I won't tell if you don't! (its also a picture on one of the covers.) I'm just happy to see anything in this section, I love this series so much. I think i've read it through 3 or 4 times now. The artbook came out a week before I left Japan so I had to rush out and get it. Anyway, I can't say your story blew me away, but it was a cute short, and very much the type of thing I can imagine illustrated as one of the little harudaki shorts. Although, I should probably warn you that Japanese people as a general rule don't have ovens. ^_^; Or well, they do but they're basically toaster ovens or microwave ovens with an 'oven' setting. So you usually only can make a few of anythign at a time, 6 small muffins for example. and i do mean small. Although I don't think you were too specific in your story so i'm sure that part is all right! Thanks for posting this!
