Why is the assasin's hair black? I thought Lotor only kept blondes in his harem as homage to allura?

After a couple years reading stories written on AFF, yours is the first one that has ever compelled me to write a review. Fantastic work here, I love how you managed to give so much depth to Allura and Lotor and their relationship.

I admit I did think that Allura was being too naive and submissive at times, and that Lotor was getting his way too often, but that thing with the virus and the scientist assassinations just was a good reminder that he's really under her spell, so to speak.

And I enjoyed the very realistic plotlines about the complications of actually running Arus under the Drule Empire. Other authors would usually just focus on the relationship itself.

So looking forward to the sequel. Thank you for this fanfic, you are one of my new favourite authors on this site now. :)

And a nice ending all around it was. Kudos. Though in your omake you could have mentioned what, if anything, you originally considered for Allura or Lotor or both to come up with to get over the duplicate Voltron issue - just a thought. Well, until the sequel then, I suppose. Laters!(Will their first be a girl or a boy or both?)

Surprise, Lotor! Took her two months to find him, huh? And the little coward, he couldn't even make himself call her even once. Oh, well, almost over now. I'm guessing she's either about to seduce him or that form fitting dress is showing that she's got a little pudgy since he left in a certain area, hehhehheh... Well, until chapter 52, then. Laters.

Where the hell did he take off to?! And leaving a note would have been so hard?! Jeez! Well, this is definitely unexpected, but I'm guessing it won't take too long to resolve and finish the story. Yay, no more Zarkon! Well, until chapter 51, then. Laters.

Hm, nice... now, will Lotor bite? Nice to see Pidge, by the way, but, what the heck was he doing? One more "storm", huh? Would that by Hurricane/Typhoon Zarkon? Well, almost to the finish line, either way. Until chapter 50, then(yikes, I can't believe you made it that long! That's so rare of a fanfic...). Laters.

Yay for you, and yay for me for coming up with the idea in the first place! Out of curiosity, what would you have done without that suggestion? So just over fifty chapters total, huh? Okay then. Though I'm honestly having trouble seeing Allura completely forgive Lotor for all this. And all things considered, I think when Keith hears he'll probably be impressed that Lotor went so far to appease Allura, and might even gladly take the blame for the sabotage, if only because he should have thought of it himself in the first place! Well, until chapter 49, then. Laters.

Yeah, the thought had actually been bouncing around in my head for awhile. Though I got to say this was rather interesting to see Lotor go to such a length to try and make Allura happy, considering Zarkon would no doubt have Lotor offed for this without a second thought. Well, I look forward to chapter 48, then. Laters.

Hmm, I almost feel sorry for Lotor, but he did sorta get himself into this, now didn't he? Here's a though he could try on Allura - compromise: when approaching a new planet they offer a peaceful merger with the Doom Empire, and part of the quid pro quo is that upon entry into the Empire, the new planet gets their own Voltron protector. That could probably have planets lining up to join! Just a thought. Well, until chapter 47, then. Laters.

Oh, yeah, nice to see Keith, again, the sneaky devil. I don't suppose any of the others bothered to come, too?

Ooh, not good. Yes, i sense a screech fest between Allura and Lotor coming in the very near future. But then, I can see her reasoning on not thinking to include such a point in the treaty. In hindsight she really should have thought that one out more carefully. On the plus side, they can only reproduce general shells and what not, so that's buying them time. Hehheh, Garrison creating a new Voltron to combat Doom's Voltrons? Sounds like you're working in the vehicle force after all, a'la the Devil's Due comics version. Well, until chapter 46, then. Laters.

Yeah, a little slow, but necessary. Interesting how Zarkon actually came off as concerned there, paternal instinct actually overwhelming him for a bit, maybe? Oh, well. So, something big goes down in chapter 45, huh? I look forward to seeing what you do next. Until then. Laters.

Well, I suppose while Allura and Lotor attempt to make up she might try to do some investigation into what became of those two maids who were raped alongside Nanny, if nothing else. Well, until chapter 42, then. Laters.

Well, could have been worse, he could have had Nanny killed, but then he'd really lose Allura. To be honest I don't see what else there is to tell here, other than Lotor making up with Allura, followed no doubt by a few hours of make-up sex. And the seemingly forgotten concept of the Voltron knock-offs. Well, until chapter 41, then. Laters.

Okay, I'll keep my eye's open. Yeah, hate to say it, but I agree with Lotor and Orla, too. They sealed their fates the moment they came and did all this, but at least one was allowed a relatively merciful end. Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if at least one more terrorist cell did pop up later on, but that's a problem for another day. For now, I await the aftermath of this one. Laters.
