    Finally, A happy ending.

I was one of many disappointed readers of Harlem Slave. So I am happy the there is at least one story that the characters of Lotor and Allure don't change. I was a little scared when Allura got taken by the rebels and Lotor rounded all of them up. But his love for her NEVER changed and true to his word - he did everything for her. Mainly freeing (as much as possible) Arus for her.

There is a lot more I can say, but in the end -- IT A GREAT HAPPY ENDING. THANKS!!!

And so it ends. Personally, I think Lotor scored the most points with Alfor when he dropped to his knees to ask his permission for Allura's hand. Would have liked to see Diana's reaction to the news though, I was all ready for a good faint scene... Well, there's always the first visit with the grandkids in the sequel to look forward to, I suppose. And while I probably would have informed Demos about the truth about Zabatos almost immediately at the beginning of the peace talks, attached with a really, really, really big apology, I suppose you're right about some secrets being left undisturbed, and I definitely agree about keeping Zarkon's original plan from them, no telling how the Demos King might have reacted to that! All things considered, though, a fabulous ending, with Lotor striving to find a balance between his human and drule natures, and attempting to at least stem the tide of domestic abuse on Doom. Kudos, once again. Until next fic, or next chapter of "Divine Misunderstandings", whichever comes first. Laters!

Ah, sweet confession. At least it's out in the open, anyway. And dare i ask who barged in, or are the obnoxious aides simply going to start hammering on the door? And, yeah, Alfor and Diana are probably not going to be very happy when they hear about this. Well, until the final two chapters, then! Laters.

And I see you squeezed in a mention of hr confessing about Rhanxi and Elianza after all, good for you! In fact, that could be a way to handle the poor hybrids, giving them to Elianza, I mean. Maybe not the best route, but it's something. And it would be a way to get her to Arus to meet Diana and Alfor. Just saying. I got to say, though, that second one, the little girl, sounded absolutely adorable. I'm thinking Lotor will find another way to settle the problem with Demos, and come back for Allura, or she'll break down and call him and tell him she loves him, or something... Oh, I don't know. Ah, well, only four chapters to go. Until Chapter 79, then. Laters.

Well, that went relatively well, though Allura still has to tell her parents about Elianza, and her upbringing on Rhanxi... And I do hope there isn't going to be a small uprising on Doom over this, though I guess I won't be too terribly surprised if it did. And I'm a bit curious as to the conditions that Alfor and the others will set for Lotor. Somehow I think Garrett's going to do something royally stupid before the end that runs dangerously close to wrecking everything. Well, only six chapters to go. Until chapter 77, then. Laters.

wow, a lot happened very quickly in ch 75 in terms of Lotor's self realization - he was pretty quick to realize he wants a deeper rlsp with (even loves?) Allura, and his concession to enter into discussions w the rebels was surprisingly easily obtained as well. Not that it's not a good turn, it just struck me that it was pretty easy to get him to change his mind in this case.

And it's just gonna get all the more awkward when they get to where they're going and Lotor appears...and hugs Allura in a motion of relief and gratitude that she's alive in front of the whole group. Allura may want to tell them about the other half of her upbringing now while she has the chance... Only nine chapters left to go! Well, until chapter 74, then. Laters.

Okay, you must have rewritten and reposted 71 real fast, cause I only saw the one version. That said, ooh, love it when I'm right, and loved the touch that Elianza has all her students lojacked, hehhehheh. Now the only problem is what's gonna happen when he reaches the rebel camp, and whether or not it will be before or after the test comes back. All the same, I really don't blame Alfor for being suspicious, in fact I wouldn't be surprised to learn that more than a few women have tried to pass themselves off as Allura over the years. And yest, it is Garrett. Although i notice no mice and no space explorers, though the absence of the latter makes a certain amount of sense. Ah, well, I look forward to whatever happens next. only eleven chapters to go. Until chapter 72, then. Laters.

Dang... Just remember, Lotor, this whole plan was your dumb idea! Yeah, I kind of thought it might be Nanny after the description, but I seem to recall a mention that Allura's nursemaid died at the playground during her original abduction and kind of assumed... And didn't you once mention thinking of Alfor and Diana leading the rebellion? Ooh, this could get awkward... Well, until chapter 69, then. Laters.

Frankly, I would not be surprised if she fainted dead away. Now the question becomes, can he, or even should he, restore Allura to her own throne, as she was never really educating in the art of ruling a kingdom, let alone a whole planet. Well, either way, I think a trip to Arus is in the near future, yes? Well, until chapter 65, then. Laters.

ahh, I was wondering why it took so long for Lotor to get the answers about Alfor. Haggar was stalling. What a great deal of plot development in the past few chapters; I can't wait to find out how Allura reacts to the news of her origins. Also it's quite suitable that you have Lotor and Allura refraining from their prior physical relationship; given the recent revelations of who they really are to each other they basically need to redefine their relationship from the bottom up - and that would be very difficult if they fell right back into their same old pattern of having sex all the time.

Ah, Haggar bowing and groveling before him, she always did know how to cow tow. And it'll be interesting to see how he and Allura react to the revelation of her background pre-Doom, that'll be an eye-opener for sure. And it'll be interesting to see how he opts to negotiate with Demos. Well, until chapter 62, then. Laters.

ah, you've gotten a lot accomplished with these last few chapters. Zarkon's dead, Lotor's King, and he's about to find out where Allura came from. In regard to the last sentence you were concerned about in Ch. 61, I actually think that last sentence is not particularly necessary. The ending sounds stronger to me if you just leave it at how he wants to be strong and protect her in the best way he knows how: "He didn't know how to safeguard her completely, but Lotor felt threatening and killing people was a good start." It leaves it open for the reader to think about whether that will indeed be a good start. And we can discover in the later chapters how he ends up hurting her with his words...

BTW I forgot to mention this before, and it's in no way related to the reason I enjoy this story so much - but based on the story stats, you first published the story on my Bday (yay). Maybe it's destiny for me to have found and loved this story :)

Hehehe, that was sweet! To be honest, though, when Zarkon started babbling despite himself, I though Lotor had simply gotten Haggar, or another witch, more likely now I think about it, to cast a truth spell on him, but drugs work, too. Hehehehe! I'm guessing Zarkon won't be around after next chapter, since by my count we still have twenty-four to go, and I do hope Lotor set up something to record and or broadcast that little conversation to the public, or at least recorded it for the people of Zabatos and Demos, both of whom I believe are due a really big apology! Well, until chapter 59, then. Laters.

aw man, he's already betrayed his promise to Allura not to tell Zarkon. I'm sure that is NOT going to go over well with her! I don't see any other solution than for Lotor to kill Zarkon during this fight - else Zarkon will likely try to kill/capture Allura anyhow to get back at Lotor. I'm sure none of the other Drules will care much that Zarkon killed Lotor's human mother back in the day...
