Reviews for The Songbird's Lament

And that's all for that ep. I look forward to seeing what happens on Pollux in the revamp to come before they go back for the rest of the guerrilla warfare. Hopefully Bandor won't get too upitty about a Drule on his planet.

Also, the new "Voltron Force" series has started airing on Nicktoons, what do you think of it? I find the writing satisfactory and the characterization and development thus far to be interesting and engaging, though I'm somewhat less than satisfied with the choice of artwork/style. And frankly the whole concept of of rearranging Voltron so that black lion can swap places with one of the others when forming Voltron just sort of gnaws at my logic acceptance center.

Well, until chapter 44, then. Laters.

And so the guerrilla warfare begins, sorta... I actually like that Sabbath and Sven aren't really trying to be friends yet, gives it a touch of realism. I look forward to seeing how you approach the rest of this episode. Well, until chapter 42, then. Laters.

Wow. This is my first review on AFF (the content is very dark and i dont want to be known here) but that story was absolutely amazing. I love it so far. The only thing that I would like is for Sabbath and the princess to get together at the end...instead of princess/sven. I know that mite be a plot problem, but honestly the story is very touching and I would like it to end happily.

Well, I'd like to say that's that, but since Romelle does actually come back to doom with Sven and a guerrilla force, I imagine that's where we're going next, yes? At least Sabbath has given the Doom regulars the bird and left the castle. Now, if he'd just grow a brain and leave the planet, permanently! Well, until chapter 38, then. Laters.

Whew! This was quite the little ride, huh? And, yeah, that was rather heavily altered, though I imagine early into the next chapter we'll be hearing that Voltron is back, and Lotor will gaining new life in his step, s to speak. And of course the appearance of Ryou, er, I mean "Sven", followed by the final long awaited escape of Romelle! Though I got to admit, the plan to try and save Allura was an interesting touch, one I might "recycle" when I eventually get to this part in WA. Until chapter 34, then. Laters.

Well, at least Sabbath was allowed plenty of time to finally heal, that's something. And yeah, you pretty much skipped the bulk of the twenties to get to episode 30(actually took a few minutes to figure out where we were!), and this might prove detrimental, as you didn't mention episode 25, which established the existence of the giant space cannon that comes into important play in the final five episodes(well, of Golion). Just saying. That aside, very good development and build up anyway, and I look forward to how you approach this particualrly intersting little episode before zip squealing through the rest of the thirties to get to 39, and the Comet! Until chapter 29, then. Laters.

Well, this was somewhat riveting, and even gives an excuse as to how the ladies got out of their cell, which is curiously absent from the show(I checked my Golion version and went, "Huh? Wait, what?"). I look forward to seeing what comes next, though I kind of expect torture for both Romelle and Sabbath, and maybe Sabbath defecting? Well, until chapter 25, then. Laters.

To be honest, as I started chapter 19, I got the feeling you were jumping around the eps. a bit, but then I saw you were setting things up in advance, which is actually a very interesting touch. Kudos. Yeah, Lotor just doesn't learn, does he? And next up Romelle makes her first escape bid, hooray for her. I look forward to seeing what you did with it. By the by, WA ch. 5 is up, looking forward to your input. Until chapter 21, then. Laters.

Interesting way to segue into episode 18, but it works. Well, at least Romelle's not going to get bothered to much just yet, but once we finish with the next episode, which I imagine you'll briefly gloss over in one chapter, while discussing the events of the next two eps. after that mostly in background as we see what happened to Romelle during that time, yes? Should prove a fascinating read, I'm sure. Until chapter 17, then. Laters.

Sorry I haven't reviewed sooner, real life pulled out all the stops on me this week. And so we finish with episode 17. I'm guessing the next few chapters will be discussing what most likely happened to poor Romelle during the next three episodes before we actually got back to her the first time with her initial escape attempt and the battle on the snow planet. I look forward to seeing what you did with that. Until chapter 13, then. Laters.

Well, looks like someone is slightly in denial, and in chapter 8 you did sort of get back to the episode, though you did alter when the eavesdropping via Coba occurred. I look forward to what else you're gonna do. As to mine, yes, the Romelle eps. are a definite lock, along with several others. Just for a "sneak peak" I'll admit that I'm currently covering eps. 1-7, as all events are rather important to the story, afterward though eps. 8-12 are on the 50-50 block, but 13-14 are again definite while 15 is a very strong maybe. I'd say more, but that would be telling. Until chapter 9, then. Laters.

Well, that was certainly an interesting look into things. I presume next chapter we get back to the actual events of the episode? And as to the Omega Comet arc, I'll get to that eventually, though now that you mention it I suppose really don't have to do the space goddess scene, do I? Might figure out a way to mention it in passing, though. I'm definitely gonna do that part though, cause I got some plans for the third part(that, and it is when Romelle finally escapes, after all!) Well, until chapter 6, then. Laters.

An interesting first three parts. I look forward to seeing what else you do here, both with this episode and the remaining Romelle eps. Well, until chapter 4, then. Laters.
