Reviews for The Cost of Regret

Well, at least things on Arus looking to truly improve, so that's something. And it all ran very smoothly, no complaints. I also seem to recall that in the last chapter, Lotor had already decided to take the night off in regards to sex due to his injury, so I'm completely fine with another 0-sex chapter. And I do believe that's the longest response you've ever given me. As to the genocide question...I may have to reread what there is of "Enemy" first... -_-; Course, I've actually been contemplating rereading "Songbird" as well, so... Okay, then, until chapter 22. Laters.

And a very interesting conversation it was. A little bit egocentric on Lotor's side, parsing all the blame on Allura and taking none for himself when he really should, but I suppose that's to be expected. At least next time things will start getting cleared up, though I am thinking it'll be a long road yet for those two. And might I say you seem to have regained some of your former pep! Now, if you could maybe direct some of that toward "Enemy" and/or "Songbird"... Well, until chapter 21, then. Laters!(aiming for 30, huh? Don't get your hopes up.)

I think "spiral" is being just a little too generous, but yes, he is definitely loosing control here! I'm thinking Civil war is inevitable at this point, but we'll see. Oddly I still look forward to that conversation. Until then, hopefully, in chapter 20. Laters.

Hmm, sadly, Haggar seems to be seeing through the lies, don't she? Ah, well, whatever. And next, the ever lovely glory of "politics". Whee... Well, at leas the conversation between Lotor and Allura should be interesting. Until chapter 19, then. Laters.

Well, I think someone is finally admitting to himself that he still cares more than he realized. That alone is a step int he right direction. Like you say, we'll see what happens in the next few chapters. Well, until chapter 17, then. Laters.

Ooh, this can go nowhere good... Hazar was a surprise, and so you know, in VV he was actually pretty honorable, and he and his "branch" of the Drules actually had eye that were red where ours are white. I'm also guessing that Garrant is an OC. Well, until chapter 17, then. Laters.

Yeah... that got a little... yoy... Hmm, let me guess which one has to do the maturing. Though right now I have a hard time imagining Allura forgiving him anytime soon, and more likely see her making further escape attempts. Well, I'll just let you get on with it, then. Until chapter 16. Laters.

Hmm, sooner or later those two are gonna have to have a long sit down and talk things through. That, or kill each other. And frankly I thought you managed to convey things quite nicely. And good luck with the doctor and therapy(at least you don't have to go through Chemo.). Until chapter 15, then. Laters.

Yeah, he doesn't quite get what was actually going through her mind at that time, does he? perhaps if he'd just started with tokens of peace and the treaty, and slowly worked his way up to a "proper" proposal over the course of a few months to a few years while letting her get to know his kinder side and earning her trust and respect and possibly admiration... Yeah, he's hopeless. As to your current block, I know how you feel, I haven't really written in months, either, my mind just hasn't really been in it, but hopefully I'll soon kick my ass back to work. Oh, well. Until chapter 14, whenever that is, then. Laters.

Yeah, fairly spectacular, especially since I sort of figured he'd passed out for the night after the first go. I'm starting to wonder how long it's going to take for him to admit to himself that he still loves her. Well, until chapter 14, then. Unless you want to give me, I mean, us, another chapter of Enemy or Songbird? Laters.

Hmm, well, maybe not spectacular, but I do believe he wasn't going to call her that night? So, yeah, FAIL! He's so still in love with her. As to the fall of the Galaxy Alliance, I suppose that's as good an explanation as any. Well, until chapter 12, then. Laters.

Uh, huh, not out of contorl, whatever you say, Lotor, buddy. I look forward to the spectacular failure, and you're welcome for the laugh. I know how you feel, my first "intermission" chapters, of sorts, for WA was exceptionally infuriating to get out! I kind of knew what I wanted to do with it when I started, but then I slammed into some of the worst writer's block I think I've ever encountered! Fortunately the chapter is finally finished, and I just need to get my butt back to work on the next one... Well, until chapter 10, then. Laters.

Yeah, Lotor, reeeeaaaal in control. I'm with Hagar, imminent disaster, for him! I also pity the poor guy sent to Arus. Well, until chapter 10, then. Laters.

Hmm, interesting introspective for Allura, I must say. As much as I hope she'll come around and feel better, I honestly can't see that happening anytime soon. As to your issues, dang. shame about the foot pad, and I think you maybe should have asked your dentist about the implant, if nothing else. Oh, well, nothing either of us can really do about it now. I don't suppose you'll be adding to "Enemy" or "Songbird" anytime soon? Well, until chapter 9, then. Laters.

Well, Lotor seems more screwed up than usual. Somehow, I have a hard time seeing this end even remotely well, but I guess we'll see what happens. Frankly, I really need to get my own butt back to work on Witch's Apprentice... ^_^; As to your current medical condition, yikes. I hope it's nothing life threatening. Though in regards to the tooth, wouldn't having it pulled be more expensive than the root canal, not less, since afterward you'll have to pay for the implant to replace it and surgery to have the implant put in? I've, thankfully, only had one root canal in my life to date, and it only cost $1000 and change to have done(course that was before I learned I was going to need three more caps, and one of them with Crown Extension Surgery, wheee....). Just saying. Well, until chapter 8, then. Laters.
