I definitely like this over a BDSM variation of the story. I've never really understood the hype that Elesa seems to often get from fans, but after reading this, I think I can begin to understand why she is so liked. The characterization of both Ash/Elesa is good and I think the story is paced pretty well. I like the fact that Ash is questioning his purpose in life; I'm sure fans have been doing the same for as long as that boy has remained 10 years old >_< But still, good stuff :)
