Pink Version
Chapter 1: Starting out
I don’t own pokemon but I do own Midori and Aoi
Two trainers set out on an adventure and discover many things about the world and themselves
Despite the title this story is a lot different than the first Pink version and other than some main characters personalities almost everything is different and unlike most of my stories this is going to focus more on plot than constant sex but there will still be plenty of yuri goodness and like the anime I will do things that don’t work in the games but I wont do anything as dumb as letting an electric hit a ground type
Midori brushed her short, pale green hair out of her eyes before stretching out in the warm sunlight on the ships deck. (Wow, I can't believe that we're moving to the Sinnoh Region). She stood up and walked over to the edge, and looked out at the sea as a few wingulls skimmed the water alongside the ship. Just then, a warm hand touched her shoulder.
“I bet you're excited, aren’t you, now that you’re out of the Fiore Region? You’ll finally be able to get a trainer's license," a soft voice said. She turned around and saw a very kind and effeminate face.
“Yeah, Dad, it’s going to be awesome! I can't wait to go on a trainer’s journey,” she said, anticipation in her voice.
“I know, but I think you should get some sleep. It’s going to be a few hours before we reach port, then it will be a few days before we get to Twinleaf,” Midori’s father said. She nodded and went off to her room.
As she lay in bed, she kept thinking about what kind of starter Pokemon she should get.
About a week later, after Midori had gotten to Twinleaf, it was late at night, so the first thing she did was pass out on the floor, not even bothering to set out a pillow. The next morning, she woke up as the sunlight crept across the floor.
“Well, I’m glad to see you're awake now,” her father said as she sat up, rubbing her eyes before yawning. “I called up my old friend, Professor Rowan. He’s sending one of his assistants to take you in for your Trainer's Exam. They should be here in about ten minutes.”
Midori was still half asleep, until she heard the last part of the sentence. “What? Why didn’t you wake me up sooner? Where’s my stuff? I need to shower and change!” Midori screamed as she frantically started searching through all of the boxes. She grabbed a towel and a fresh set of clothes, and ran into the first room she saw and slammed the door.
“Honey, that’s a closet. The bathroom is the first room on the left, second floor.”
Midori walked out with her towel wrapped around herself, holding her fresh clothes. She had a faint blush. Then she quickly ran up the stairs.
Midori stood under the hot water. (Man, I can't believe he didn’t wake me up! I hope I’ve got enough time left to get all my stuff ready!)
Back downstairs, Midori’s father was going through the boxes, getting everything his daughter would need, when there was a knock at the door. He walked over to it and was greeted by a pretty young girl wearing glasses with waist length blue hair.
“Hello, Mrs. Mizuki. I’m Aoi Takeuchi, Rowan’s assistant,” she said, bowing very slightly.
“Oh, you’re here earlier than I thought. Please come in,” he said, stepping aside. “Oh, one thing. I’m not a woman, I’m just a bishonen. My name is Shun.”
Aoi blushed slightly. “I’m sorry.”
"There’s no need to apologize. My ex-wife made the same mistake when we first met. Midori is upstairs taking a shower right now, but she should be done any time now.”
Midori was scrubbing her hair when she heard voices downstairs. (That must be the person that Professor Rowan sent. Better hurry up!)
Midori finished rinsing the shampoo out of her hair. She quickly jumped out of the shower and dried off. She pulled on her bra and shirt. Then she got her panties on and started trying to walk out of the room while putting on her pants. She had one leg in, but just as she was sliding the other one in, she tripped. She felt absolutely nothing below her, and realized that she was falling down the stairs.
Aoi and Shun were sitting in the living room waiting for Midori, when suddenly there was a loud crash in the hallway. They quickly ran out and saw Midori laying flat on the ground, her ass sticking up high in the air. Her pants were halfway on.
There were a few seconds of silence before she jumped up, her face bright red. “Umm, hi,” she said, waving at Aoi. She looked down and saw that her pants were still around her ankles. She quickly pulled her pants the rest of the way up and zipped them shut.
“Well Midori, that was one way to make an impression,” Shun said, chuckling. Midori walked over to him, and then a resounding Whack was heard. He clutched the back of his head. “I wish your mother hadn’t given you that stupid fan.”
Midori looked at Aoi. “Umm, sorry about all that,” she said, putting the fan away.
“It’s alright. Well anyway, I’m Aoi Takeuchi, so what do you say we go ahead and get going? We can talk some more on the way to the exam center.”
Midori nodded. “Alright. Dad, I’ll be back in a few hours.”
The two of them then left the house. “So, Professor Rowan told me that you're eighteen, but you still don’t have a Trainer’s License.”
Midori sighed. “Yeah. I was born in the Fiore Region, where no one catches Pokemon, but my mom is a Pokemon Ranger, so I have some basic knowledge. But I’ve never had any real experience with battles,” Midori said as the two of them walked toward the exam center, which was on the far side of the town.
“Well, that might make things tougher on you, but I’m sure it won't be too hard, if what Professor Rowan told me about your father is true,” Aoi said.
“Yeah, it is, but he released most of his Pokemon back before I was born, so I don’t even know how to work a Pokeball right.”
After a while, they reached the center. “Well, I’ll be waiting out on the training field, so go fill out the paperwork,” Aoi said, walking outside. Midori walked up to the front desk, and Nurse Joy handed her the paperwork.
“Alright, just fill everything out, and then go into the back room for the first half of the test. I’ll administer the second half of the test.”
Midori then went through the registration process. After she was done, she was taken to the back room to take the written part of the exam. As soon as she walked into the room, she felt embarrassed beyond words. (Man, everyone in here is only ten! I probably look like a loser), she thought as she walked to her seat. She sat down next to a littlie girl with blond hair, who looked at her for a few seconds.
“Don’t you think you're a bit old to just be getting your license, granny?”
Midori clenched her fist, resisting the urge to whip out her folding fan. “I’m only eight years older than you,” Midori said.
“Alright everyone, be quiet. The test papers will now be handed out. You have one hour to finish it,” some old man said before he walked up and down the aisles, setting a sheet of paper in front of everyone.
An hour later, Midori walked out to the training field.
“So do you think you passed?” Aoi asked.
“Yeah, that was no problem. Most of that stuff was things that I already knew. What I’m worried about is the practice battle.” Midori put her hands behind her head and stretched.
“Don’t worry. It’s not that hard to win if you just think about it a littlie bit,” Aoi said encouragingly.
“Alright, Midori Mizuki! Please step forward for your battle,” Nurse Joy said .
Midori walked up to a table that had several belts with Pokeballs on them. “Just pick any one you want. These Pokemon will listen to whatever you tell them.”
Midori picked up the first belt that she saw. Joy then grabbed one for herself. The two of them then walked to the center of the field.
“Okay, now then. You don’t actually have to win to pass. Just beat at least two of my Pokemon,” Joy explained.
“Alright. Umm, I’ll release a Pokemon first,” Midori said. She reached down and grabbed a Pokeball. “Alright, come on out!” she shouted, tossing it into the air. The ball fell straight down and nailed her in the head before the burst of light solidified into a Golduck.
“Are you alright?” Joy asked as Midori rubbed the top of her head.
“Just fine.”
Joy took hold of one of her Pokeballs and let out a Bastiondon. Midori gulped nervously.
“Alright, Gloduck, use Water Pulse!” Midori ordered.
“Bastiondon, Protect,” Joy commanded, just as the powerful stream of water was about to hit her Pokemon.
“Now use Take Down,” Joy said. Her massive shield-headed Pokemon rushed forward and smashed into the Gloduck.
“Okay, use Confusion!”
Gloduck seemed to glow for a few seconds. Then Joy’s Bastiondon was enveloped in a purple haze. It began to stagger around.
“Now, while it’s dazed, hit it with a Water Gun.”
The Golduck fired a powerful stream of water, drenching its opponent.
“Bastiondon, use Iron Head.”
Rather than listen, Bastiondon ran straight into a wall, hurting itself.
Aoi sat on the sidelines. (She got lucky with that , since it’s confused. She might win), Aoi thought as the Bastiondon continued to stagger.
“Golduck, get behind its head and use Fury Swipes.”
The Golduck quickly did as it was told. It got behind the massive faceplate and began to wildly swing its claws at the exposed neck of Bastiondon.
“Now that it’s weakened, hit it with a Hydro Pump.”
Bastiondon fell forward, knocked out cold. Joy recalled it. “You did a good job. Now let’s see how you do against my next Pokemon,” Joy said as she tucked the ball away.
Midori recalled the Golduck. “Thanks a lot.” She pulled out the next one. “Let’s see what you can do.”
She then tossed out her Pokeball. A Hariyama took shape. Joy’s Pokemon was soon revealed to be a Sableye.
(Midori doesn’t stand a chance), Aoi thought as the ghost danced around.
“Sableye, Night Shade.”
As soon as the dark blast hit, Hirayama was knocked out right away, falling over backwards. Both of them recalled their Pokemon.
“Too bad for you. Just an unlucky match up,” Joy said as she pulled out her next Pokeball, while Midori took out her next one, as well.
Midori let out a Skarmory, while Nurse Joy’s next Pokemon was a huge letdown, a small Luvdisc. There were a few moments of awkward silence.
“Umm, Skarmory, use Drill Peck.”
The massive iron bird walked forward, and bent and attacked, KO'ing the heart-shaped fish right away.
“Well then, I guess you pass,” Joy said, recalling her Luvdisc. Midori called back the Skarmory.
“Now then, just go to the front room, and I’ll get you your license shortly,” Joy said as she walked over to the table to greet the next person to take the test.
“That was pretty impressive, Midori. Well, except for when you cracked your head open with the Pokeball,” Aoi said as she and Midori walked back into the building.
“Really, I just got lucky. I mean, if she’d called out an Electric type, I would have probably lost,” Midori said, sounding very relieved that the whole thing was over.
“Nonsense. Types only matter a little overall. Skill and preparation are what matter. Any Pokemon can easily beat its weakness with a good trainer. Anyway, I’m going to go call Professor Rowan so he can get your first Pokemon ready,” Aoi said, walking away. She then pulled out a cell phone. After about a minute, she walked back over.
“The Professor said that since your dad’s an old friend of his, he’s going to give you a special starter Pokemon, rather than the usual ones, but he wouldn’t tell me what it was going to be.”
At about that time, Midori was called up front and given her license.
“Well, it’s not too far to Sandgem. We should be able to get there in about ten minutes,” Aoi said.
“Okay, cool. Just lead the way.”
