Well, very nice and necessary, but I am dying to go back to Hiko, Soujiro, Kaoru and above all see the first meeting of Hiko and Kenshin. I am sure it should be memorable.

Another well done chapter. The graphic details were so insightful and made the chapter that much better to read. I loved the ending, as it leaves us with anticipation for the next chapter and upcoming war. You made Saitoh so ruthless and cocky like he is in the actual show, I love that evil bastard.

I really LOVE this story!! It's one of the very few I have read that actually makes a hell of a lot of sence. I mean you explain why they have powers and why they are 'alergic' and other stuff, besides that bit of 'The Acient Language' and shit it's really interesting. I also like the way you portrait the charactes no OCC's or anything really strange. You like history, thats cool!! I belive history is something important and that we should all know at least alittle about our past. Anyway please update really soon I think this is just getting started.

You do me the greatest honor in mentioning me in chapt 10 as giving you the courage to write this story; arigatou for that. but in reality it is your story and remember what I told you back during the "End of a Weary Day" saga, do not let anyboell ell you what or what not to write about; it is your story, your idea, and if they do not like how it is written, formatted, or flowsey cey can go on to another story or another website; this is America, freedom of speech is all well and good but if it hurts somebodys feelings, make them think less of themselves then they can go to another country!!!!

Idon't Care what others think... I think you should continue to write your story because there are going to be people lihat hat every where and sometimes I think you should take no mind to those who have no brain and can't write stories of their own.

Ah, mon ami, don't think I'm not reading the new chapters you gift us with! *chuckles and grins* This story has not once failed the expectations you have created with your previous chapters. It is still every bit as beautiful and compelling as when I first began to read. The interactions flow so naturally, and your descriptions make it very easy to be swept up into the story. It's more like seeing a movie to me than reading a story, and you never fail to leave me wanting more. And just a note abthe the Ellis Island bit... as you said, this is a story. It amuses me that they chose that piece of information to accuse you of being "silly" or "ill-informed" about in a story involving vampires and mythical creatures as though they were so very commonplace. *shakes head and sighs over the rudeness of some people* This is your story, and if they are making the choice to read. Use whatever speaks to you in any way you wish... that's the beauty of creativity and fiction. They should try to remember that you are the one being gracious enough to let us take a peek into a world you created and have chosen to share. It's intriuging, entertaining, and lovely, and I will read for as long as you choose to write and post for us.

GOMEN NASI! GOMEN NASI! I am kangan (ashamed) please forgive this unworthy one, this baka deshi of yours asks for your forgiveness! This story is purely, purely WONDERFUL!!! The minute I read who the leader of the "made" were i about died laughing, should have known; the talk between ken-san and nadia nearly broke my heart, it was so sad!!! Loved how you portrayed Kaoru, what a little bitch in the beginning, loved it!!! Chapter 8 when you mentioned the pure bloods who went out to look for kauro and one of them was named Angle, lolololol, could have guessed who I was picturing in myd, hd, huh; I think you should right a character in the "made" called Spike, lololol. I liked how you instituted some of the battosai's phrases in there, mostly when kenshin calls kauro his "little one". I think you need to ask your artists to come up with a picture of kenshin in his "cel" form, remember when he was talking to Sano in his office and he changed into his Cel form in front of Sano, Kami!! what a picture that would make..

I think that you captured the true essence of Sano's character. While he would be severely ticked off and confused about everything that is going on with Kenshin, I could not honestly see him throwing away a near-life long friendship at the drop of a pin.
The fact that he questioned Kenshin and himself about everything that he has seen within the past few days is completely normal and a human would react in that way. It's just human nature to become angry and upset when one is scared or confused. So nobody should fault Sano for having doubts. But just like the true friend that he is and the amount of loyalty that exists between the two character he stands by his friends side and willingly offers to aid in anyway that he can.

Yeesh, I didn't expect you to make an entire special update. Really. One little line saying you knew but for the purposes of the fic it had to be abandonded would have been fine. There are too many fanfic authors out there who do no research so I honestly didn't know if you knew or not. As for the person who thinks I shouldn't be complaining about anything in a vampire story, supernatural beings are outside the bounds of normal rules to begin with. Suspending disbelief for that is easy. Ellis Island however, is quite real. My grandparents and great-grandparents came through there, escaping the pogroms in Eastern Europe and as I said I visited the museum. I have worked as a historian and archaeologist. Your characters are always 'feeling' when things are 'right' or 'wrong'. Well for me it's the same with things that touch on history. As for Lilith, if I remember correctly she wanted to be an equal partner, not the dominant one, and she was demonized more by Christianity than Judaism.

For a moment I thought you were going to end the story there. Now I see you just meant finishing that chapter. That is good because this is being VERY good. I am looking forward to Kenshin meeting Hiko. That should prove entertaining, Hiko meeting the wise ass... Where is Misao by the way? Got have that love interest for Aoshi. Sano is SO in character. And by the way, long chapter are wonderful. They keep us fed between updates,which we all pray are short.

-blushes and squeals at what Kanzen wrote- Oh your so nice! And the information came from the library (I know I was supposed to be studying asian mathematicians, but what the hey). I honestly don't care if you can't use it, its just interesting factoids. I seem to have a love for all things supernatural.

Now, concerning the people who got upset over certain facts. Kaoru is ripping people's heads off... and they're complaining about Ellis Island? My God people, it's a story. Use your imagination. Considering the fact that the story takes characters from a show that has nothing at all to do with vampires, who cares whether or not Ellis Island is abandoned or not. Give it a rest!

Lere dancing around the room: "another chapter...lalalalalalala... another lemooooonnnn... lalalalalalla!!!!!!". Oh sensei, you don't know how happy I was reading your story this time. I was stressed and tired because my finals will start very soon, and I still have to finish my monograph to be able to graduate, and my job is geting all my time, my sister will marry next saturday and many friends and family will come to my home and I will not have enough time to study or finish all the things I have to do. It's almost five in the morning and I was going to bed but I decide to see if a good story was up to help my brain, and... YOU UPDATED!!!!! You have no idea how happy I am right now. I will be able to rest now with some good toughts and I guess I will have some waff dreams with lots of romance in them. Thank you my dear, dear friend! You always bright my day!
