This is terrible. I feel more sorry for Ryo. I have an idea about the story, but I won't tell. I can full-hearted understand with Dee's feelings and position. Whether having a hard past or not, when a person opens themselves up to another person, they can be hurt very, very deeply by scenes that he walked into and saw, plus his suspions(?) seemed to be confirmed. Even if a person totally trusts another, I don't think that anyone out there can truly say if certain 'facts', 'circumstances', or such came to light that they wouldn't be wondering also. Some might not take the initative to actually follow or walk in, but there are those that would. Dee realized that what Ryo was telling him was a bit shaky, even covered up, even though you didn't mention him directly saying 'where the f* were you at (or did you go)?). Dee felt betrayed, hurt, and he struggled to go through the next day the best way he could. People either cry and/or beg and walk around like living dead, or they become defensive, rejecting, even cruel. Dee's a hardened tuffy, and I believe the qualities that he's been displaying fit, especially since he had left himself so open to be so wounded.

But then you have lovable Ryo, hurting so much! And with the gentler side (even being male as he is) you've made it where you just want bully Dee to give in. You've given him the pitying emotions whereas Dee has the stay-strong ones. I stand by Dee (hiding my face when he's tauntingly mean) because in the story it reads that he's the one wronged. But my tears are for for for the sorrow he's going through. I just want to drag Dee over and say, don't you see how much pain he's in? Please give him a chance (if only the one)!

The new partner thing. I'm kind of glad that you did not write a whole lot on their relatiop dap day-in-day-out, skimming the weeks by, allowing the readers to know that the partnership is there, but leaves it distant to not know the character well enough to be attached to - if I've said that right.

Well, I've really blabbed my mouth. Sorry. Just felt I had to write something about the green-eyed guy to let known that his pain should be considered just as much. Cannot wait until the next chapter, so we all know for sure what's going on.

Thanks for posting so many new chapters. I'm really enjoying this story. I hope it has a happy ending (hint! hint!). I usually love a good angsty romance but, right now, I could use a little "sunshine" too. Why doesn't that Armon guy speak up? Can't he figure out something1s wrong with Ryo? If he's a friend of Ryo's I would think he would want to help him out of this mess. Oh, well, you're the author so keep up the good work. I'm loo for forward to the next chapter. ^ _ ^

WOW! Damn you just keep cranking out the angst and I keep yanking out the tissues! *sniffles* I feel so bad for Ryo right now. And Dee... Well I want to smack him upside the head! That was just plain cruel, no matter how much he might think Ryo deserved it! *Glares at Dee* Going through a break up myself has me feeling very closely connected to this story.an'an't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the awesome work. *Grabs another tissue*

Yep, I'm here. Been patiently waiting. Read it...hummm...what to say? Poor Ryo, despite feelings and reasons Dee has. Oh, God, that sounds like my ex-boyfriend. He does me wrong (more times than a person could count actually) and I'm left dealing, trying to block out feelings to stay strong to on on with 'functioning', and he gets the pity. Somehow I think there's more to the story than has been let on, which makes me feel for Ryo. It's like he's the one really getting hurt. Dee was actually being... can't think of the word but whatever it is it's more deliberate. Are you really going to have Dee fooling around with that other guy? That was too cruel when he winked and said Fairs fair. Dee had said in the beginning that he didn't want to hear excuses...another thing my ex would say.... and Ryo doesn't get too many whole sentences out...YES, and don't anyone out there say that can't be real, because IT CAN BE... I've gone through it myself!!!! You start to say something and you get cut off, you start to say some again (which can be a bit different than before) and get cut off again. Before you know it, there's been a lot spoken, but nothing said..yep, yep..

I really liked the Bikky scene. Tender moment between the two. I know that in the book Dee and Bikky don't get alone that well, but sometimes from the beginning of the book it was Deet ket kept him safe and hauling him out of the house. Later Dee made sure that Bikky was safe when there was a bomb. I think that once the two men really committed to each other, Bikky also calmed a bit even though they don't show it in the book. So I can see the kid making comparisons of Dee being gone an eternity, I can see him upset for Ryo's pain, and I can see him comforting Ryo like that because he knows it matters to his 'adoptive' father. So don't take no guff from people thinking that wouldn't be right!

Well, there's my opinion. Sorry, I kind of do it sometimes with authors when I write a review. Looking forward to your next chapter....

The move. The key. The bitch-slap. The NOTE! It was all good. I was right on the note thingy, hehehehe!!! I fig Ryo Ryo would do something like that as Dee is still really important to him, despite clobbering him! (that was an oh, so good one!). Please keep up the good writing on his story. Now we have Ryo's and Dee's musings (so to speak) and your next chapter is going to be New Partner... god, just what will come of that one?

Must... have... more... *eyes glaze over*

Well... even though I could have guessed what was on the note Ryo gave to Dee in the last chapter, I still cried when it said "YOU". How sweet! Dee, what a hottie. *swoon* All this angst is just going to make the get together (if there is one *crosses fingers*) even better. The harder they fall the better it is when they make up! I'm just so pleased there are no words. *cheers madly*

More power to you to include a juicy lemon in the end, ne? :-D

Lots and lots of Dee and Ryo angst! I didn't know Ryo had it in him to slap Dee like that! *is shocked* *sniff* This story is still incredibly sad, and I can't wait for the next chapter! Hurry!!! Ouch! Poor Dee. I can understand about him not wanting to let go and hurting, but since he believes Ryo's betrayed him he's pushing (or running, whichever you want to think it) away and using a bit of anger? to throw back from his pain. I've seen people do that. I don't think it would be too out of character to feel and act that way. Dee can be sensitive and caring, but he can be brass and obnoxious and 'loud'. Still love him though. Loved how you explained what happened that got Ryo in trouble. Ha! Dee!

Really loved the note part when he had wrote YOU as to what was gone and Ryo wanted back. That was.... profound(?)
Well, I will be waiting to read when you get the next one up....
Great story. Been loving it - even hurting as I have.
