Hooray! Another update! It's sad seeing things from Hiro perspective...maybe because that really sets the situation in stone as to how coldly realistic they're forced to be about this

I have to say this story still has my full attentin. Even from the moment I started reading it. It's nicely written and you've done an excellent job with the personailities and emotions of the characters with the situation they are in. I am anxious to read what happens in the next update.

I apologize for being part of turning your review board into a mini battleground, though I do not apologize for my comments. I hope that you did actually read through my reviews, because I did leave comments about the story that I'd want you to read. After this chapter, I think my first thought was that every chapter you seem to be trying to make a case for Shuichi and Annette's relationship. Like dropping in the comment about Shuichi not getting into relationships lightly and how he must really like the girl. I still don't believe that. I think it's more an issue of comfort. I've been in situations myself, where I've been in a new place and haven't known anybody and once I find somebody I feel comfortable with I attach myself to them to make myself feel better. I mean I didn't have issues with my memory, but I figure the situation would be even more intense in his case, because not only does he not know anybody but he doesn't know himself. So I dunno, I think I'm just anti-Annette at the moment and nothing you write will ever convince me that she's a character I should like. To talk about the pacing of the story, as I said before, I don't think it's necessarily that the story is slow and lagging, it's just that I think most of the readers (with the exception of a few who seem to be able to identify with Annette's desperation:D) have a strong desire to see Annette gone and as quickly as possible. And again not because they want sex and only sex, like another reviewer said. I personally don't want Annette gone just so Shuichi and Yuki can get it on (though I wouldn't mind;D), I just want them back together because they should be together. Especially, going along with something another character said, after how hard Shuichi fought for them to be together in the first place. So anyways yea, I do hope that someone slips and tells Shuichi the truth, but considering the situation and the personality, he'd probably be pissed for awhile and might just stay with Annette out of spite (oops, I hope I haven't given you any ideas there). Either that or his being told will trigger something and he'll remember everything about being with Yuki and forgive him (though still be annoyed) just because he knows him so well and understands why he did it, either that or he'd be the weird overly forgiving person he is and forgive him just because. Anyways I'm gonna end this now and say that I hope to see and update soon, and I really hope that people stop attacking us because we hold a different opinion than theirs.

Great chapter please keep going I like how you add the conversation that would happen if Shuichi still had the memories of Yuki...I think of all the people to tell him it would be Hiro, what are best friends for right....thank-you for posting...

Well I send a kiss my ass to Reyn too. You sit there on your high horse trying act all high and mighty like you've never judged anybody in your life. I'm sorry, but that is human nature. We judge each other. Get over it. And also, the guy who killed John Lennon was following his heart, you think it was the right thing to do? No, just because a person is doing what you seem to think is in human nature to do doesn't mean it's right. That's what you and Pikachu Goddess don't seem to get. Also your the one who has a lot of gall to say we have to right to give our opinion. When an author asks for a review in every chapter, that's what their asking for. They asking for your opinion and how you feel after the story. The majority of the readers think it's lagging, it seems to me, looking through most of the reviews, that there are more people who share the opinion that the stories lagging than others. I'm sorry to the author for the review place turning into a bit of a battleground, but I think it's ridiculous for these people who seem to think they know so much about life coming in and insulting other reviewers for giving their opinions, especially when nobody did it in an insulting way. And also in my opinion that comment about the reviewers not having the right to tell an author what they want to see is crap. When an author writes and puts their work out there, it's to please not only themselves but also the readers. In order to do this, you need to know what people like about your story and what they don't. That's my opinion at least. I just want to end this by saying to the author that I hope you don't take offense at this because most of it wasn't really aimed at you. You haven't really given any input to this argument, and I'm not sure you will, but I felt a need to respond to those two reviewers since they seem to think their opinions are worth more than the rest of ours. I do like your story and I am frustrated that more hasn't happened, but that's mostly just my need to know what's going to happen now because I'm nosy. But anyways you must be doing something right, because plenty of people love your story, they're main problems being that they hate Annette and they want to see her gone, which I think is what is leading to most of the comments about pacing. I don't think they'd think the story was slow if she wasn't in it. And while I'm at it, I want to leave a response to "byo": I don't think any of the reviewers said they wanted sex and just sex, I'm pretty sure your the only one who said anything about that. We just want Annette gone and Yuki and Shuichi back together. She's one of those characters that people love to hate. And yes the story shouldn't be as the audience demands, but still you want the people reading your story to like it and you should keep suggestions and comments in mind. If you don't do that you'll be one of those authors who never improve because they think that what they write is perfect (Again not aimed at you, just more in general). Anyways yea, I'm gonna stop now, didn't mean to go on as long as I did, but I have trouble organizing my thoughts and they tend to come out like a jumble. So yea I'm gonna post this with a kiss my ass to Reyn:P

y'know, after reading the A/N in ch. 29, I actually went ahead and started reading the reviews you recieved. I must say, even though I really have no right to be so, I'm totally offended that people have the gall to sit there and team up against you there and say they're getting bored and asking you to hurry it up and move things along. As a reader, they have no right to sit there and make demands on the author, considering it's the author who's sitting there and doing all the hard work.

Personally, I'm loving the ups and downs of this story. It's beautifully written and everyone's emotions are logically explained as to why they choose whatever paths they wish to follow. No one has the right to judge the characters for following their heart in a time of emotional turmoil. (shakes angry fist)

That said, I'm too lazy to look up your email (yes, I'm an awful person. LoL. Actually, I'm feeling lazy because I've been uploading stories in every which direction, so I'm exhausted at all the hard work), so I'm letting you know here. I finally finished and uploaded that ipod idea I kept telling you about. It's here at aff.net under the title 'iPod Induced Lust'.

Now that I think about it, I should prolly upload it at that gravi fic site as well...

You are brilliant!!!!!!! I read what you have done so far in two days and I am hooked! My heart breaks for Yuki, I feel so sorry for him. I think Annette is a good character, but I absolutely HATE her (Does that sentence sound weird only to me....?) God, I really want Yuki to tell Shu that he was his lover. You have a great grasp of the characters and their personalities, and your angsty story is fantastic :). Please update soon, and please make Yuki tell Shu soon *puppy dog eyes* please?????? Keep up the good work, you are amazing!!

Do not hurry to a trite and overdone ending because some reviewers want sex and only sex. The mindscapes are fascinating internal studies and give us an awareness of how you perceive the characters. They are important to the plotline and to understanding of these characters' motivations.

The pacing is not slow at all. I would much rather read something like this than a quickly cobbled-together, poorly written and superficial bit of smut.

Annette is a fine, three-dimensional person who has her own emotional baggage to carry. I am curious about some of her background story and how it might relate to how she acts and reacts now.

Let the story flow as the characters dictate, not as the audience demands. In the end, you will be happier about the quality of the piece.

    I am thinking about you!

I was reading through the reviews and I have to say that I'm insulted by Pikachu Goddess's review. She acts like just because I, or we, don't like Annette and think she should be gone that we are immature and don't know anything about love. Well in my opinion she is the one that's immature if she thinks that real love makes a person selfish and desperate enough to lie to a person to keep them. That's not real love in my opinion. That's the kind of love that either fades after a few years because it was just childish infatuation or it's still there because it's a sick obsession. I think it's because of opinions like this that the divorce rate is so high. People don't really love each other, they just are selfish. And just because I've never been in love doesn't mean I can't see this. And just so you can't say that I don't know anything, I talked to my mother (who is 52 and in my opinion probably knows more about love than you do) and she agrees with me. Real love make you more selfless than selfish and so I end with another get rid of Annette and bring back Yuki. And if you can pass on a Kiss my Ass to Pikachu Goddess

    Jade Heart,
I agree with everything you have said in your post. Love DOES make one both selfish and selfless. You become willing to do anything to get that person back, even if it is to lie to them to try to help them. Don't mind the naysayers, they are just immature and clueless as to what we humans are willing to do for love, maybe because they have not yet been in love.

I'm still reading this on gurabite, where the readers are more mature. I think I will go back to doing so.
