That's a pretty good job for a first story especially if you were quite young. It flows very well and is almost lyrical. Very pretty.
You even managed to distract me enough that I didn't mind the one finger two finger preparation technique that every author uses. That's a pet peeve of mine, so the fact that I was able to make it through without twitching it high praise.
