I appear to keep finding your work... Haha! Not that that's a bad thing. In fact, it's quite delightful reading. Keep up the good work. Really.
What I like about this story is that you give your readers the sense that Hakkai probably does know who this is, but he just can't think of it at the moment. You build up that mystery and tension throughout the story, and the suspicion that captor and captive are familiar with one another is heightened when the captor says Hakkai's name. It's very well done.

I really enjoyed this. I like Hakkai/Kou stories and there are very few good ones so I'm glad I found this story.
