This is delightfully irreverent.

Early on, I was reminded of a time I roleplayed a "horror movie" with some friends in the DnD style, all playing ourselves and killing each other off in gruesome manners. After that, I couldn't get the image out of my head of all the characters doing the same.

Max's death was by far the most amusing. Functionally, though, it's a bit disappointing that you've killed off all the women. No chance of ending-credits sex. ):

A daringly dark and highly disturbing piece - and all the more powerful for that. It was a very bitter pleasure to read through it. Several deaths truly shocked me, particularly Misty's. Its a really uncompromising piece, however, I must say that May's death disappointed me. For one thing, the cast is left entirely bereft of females. For another, it would have been more emotional, and perhaps even darker to have May struggle on blind and without her brother. Just cutting her loose like that I think destroyed a lot of potential.

Also, keeping May alive and in her tortured state would have left open the door for something resembling a happy ending; Ash and May getting together despite having lost everything.

I must say that I was overall disappointed to see Brock miraculously survive after being pronounced dead and not May. The reverse would have been much better in my opinion. I hope it's not too late for you to change your mind - as far as I'm concerned Brock doesn't offer half the potential that a blind and helpless May does. I will be looking forward to the next chapter regardless; keep going!

Oh no... Oh no, oh no, oh no... Not May... Not after all that...

May was the one chance this story had at finishing with a bittersweet ending... Brock dying I could have handled, but now we have no chance of our heroes being happy for a long... long... long time... And oh man it's not over yet! We've still got an all out confrontation ahead, as well as some very emotional news bearing...

I wish I had more to say... but I'm just... I guess stuck... I mean poor Ash's heart must be in such pain... How's he going to deal with that? The only thing I can think of is that things are about to get very crazy... very crazy... wow...

I feel your pain in the review department. I really enjoy the communication with other people and getting to talk about the background and behind the scenes of my stories which is why I try to be as detailed as I can when I review for other people.

I really didn't mean to bash Ash as bad as I guess I made it sound in my last review. You can tell he's under a lot of pressure which is why I added in that even with what he said it made it still fit his character even if it wasn't as nice as he normally is. Max though... He just had so much potential... You built him up so nicely! I was really getting to be a big fan of his! And then it was just, splat! All I could think of when I read that was "NOOOOO!" If the innocent kid didn't make it what chance does anyone else have? I mean seriously I think he was the only virgin out of all our characters... That just isn't right, after everything he did and still die without ever getting any... /sigh... that's also why I'm convinced there's going to be plenty more death in the story. In the very least we'll get some severed limbs.

With all the speculations I make, I'm still at a loss with the situation because it just looks so hopeless... I mean the Mr. Mime alone brings the human survival expectancy rate to just about nill... And if they do get off the island alive... there is going to be a hell of a lot of grieving to do... I mean damn... We haven't even had a chance to mourn one loss before someone else dies and it just continues. We have an emotional roller coaster ready if anyone lives through the fight.

The spiritual realm is the other part of the story that gives me major chills... Just because I get the feeling there would have been no reason to spend so much time in it in the beginning of the last chapter if it wasn't going to play some major role coming up here. That can mean a couple of things. Possibly everyone is going to die and then meet up in the afterlife to enjoy themselves once they're all dead, or maybe once enough people die they're going to combine their spiritual residuals and form a great specter who will bring ghastly intervention to aid the living comrades. I have no idea, but I get the feeling I should be seeing some kind of important link here.

Only time will tell... or perhaps... only the poke ball on his belt knows for sure...

Oh Monkey... It just ends there... OK fine...

Well crap that wasn't a very nice thing to say to May... honestly... The least he could have done is told her to go take cover in the opposite direction or something... Oh well it fits his bluntness. I just flew through the whole chapter and wow even I was getting angry at this chick! She just crushed Max! I suppose it would have been worse if Mamoswine had crushed him without him being frozen... but it was just a horrible way to die! At least Jessie got some closure with this bitch. Max was just picked off like nothing... And this was the kid that beat Ash in a battle in the beginning of the story!

There's just so much going on I can't even comment on it all. From the freaky afterlife scenes with misty, to all of the plans and multiple conspiracies on the sidelines. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out at the end that Brock was hired by Giovanni to kill Shelly who will then be killed by Giovanni who will then be killed by Archie! ~It's the ciiiiiircle.... Circle of Deeeeeaaath!~

The Weavile trying to learn to talk is pretty cool. I mean the detail put into May's phases of understanding it were awesome. And speaking of May, I still haven't figured out why Shelly has it in so bad for the girl. At least May finally came out and admitted her feelings for Ash... though she's probably going to die next, Ash will get off the island alone with James and.... I won't go there... sorry it's late and I'm in a strange mood.

Once again, absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to see the conclusion! Hope it comes soon!

Oh my gosh... I think you overloaded AFF.net! There's nothing here /cry! I don't know what happened that chapter 10 only got as far as "Please enjoy the story" and just cuts off, but if I know programming then there should be some kind of a character limit as far as how much the chapter loading can handle... and at 21,000 words... you just might have found it... lol! Please get the story up! I'm dieing to read it! Later!

Hola again. It's been sucha long time since I've been on this site xP I usually saved my AFF browsing for my PSP since it takes little memory, but I lost my PSP charger ages ago, and never got around to getting on AFF. But I got here, and the first thing I did was check back on one of my favorite unfinished stories. Still great as usual. Hopefully my next words of praise and encouragement happen sooner, and less rushed, but I'm tired and getting a cold lol. xP Keep up the spectacular work!

Oh part of the the fun in reading a story is having your expectations pulled out from under you. I actually love it when a story builds me up towards a conclusion that seems likely, but has left subtle clues that may not even be picked out on the first time through and then throws it all at you at once like this is how it really is! OK I could just be weird... but anyway.

I know I had seen you comment before about how you like the Ash/Misty pairing which was why I really wasn't expecting her to be taken out so quickly. It makes more sense now that I know there's some background behind the decision making.

I suppose a lot of my confusion over Ash's character is really my own fault as my knowledge of the anime show is limited to the first three seasons as I really stopped watching once the whole Johto part of the story arc began. The rest of my basis on the series comes from playing the games, reading the mangas, and general character bios and other people's opinions. So I'd imagine Ash character has made some major changes since the early times when he was very headstrong and far from the brightest strategist I'd ever seen. Unless the end of the last chapter was a dream or something there is still no way Ash is going to wake up in the morning and go "What? Misty died? What a bitch... oh well..." In fact I'm wondering the relationships are going to just maybe shift a bit... we'll see if any consoling happens in the next chapter after all. (Yeah I'm sorry I can't help it...)

And chapter 10 is done but you're going to make me wait are you... OK Fine... I suppose I deserve it for what I put anyone who reads my stories through... See you next time!

YES!!! YES!!!! OH IT CONTINUES!!! I had almost given up hope...

OH EM GEE!!! That was awesome! Wow... I'm horrible... Anyway once again I have to say brilliant! I couldn't believe the end of that chapter... Ash is going to be DEVASTATED.... He just had probably the most wonderful experience of his life and will wake up in the morning to find one hell of a mess... Oh he's going to be pissed... I'm trembling in anticipation of his reaction... Ash's middle name will be Rambo after his devastated screams of agony end.

I do have to say I wasn't a big fan of Ash's monologue in the meeting... It kind of felt a little unnatural... I mean I can tell you are an incredibly articulate person but there were a few things Ash was saying that to me didn't feel like a boy of his age and demeanor would really say. That's all entirely my opinion. That and probably the recap part of his speech could have been summarized further.

For a chapter that long though it's incredible that Ash's personality traits are the only thing I can really nitpick at. I mean, there were a few things I saw coming like who May's attacker was... The moment the voice changer was mentioned I was like it's that Shelly chick... But I was completely caught off guard by the first death... I mean... she'd been through so much... survived so much shit throughout the story so far... and then out of no where, BAM! First to die! Oh shit... But that just opens up so many possibilities with Ash's demeanor the way you've depicted it so far. I can see the next chapter going something along the lines of "Let the witch hunt begin!" and fingers are going to be pointed everywhere and people are going to be mad and... and it's going to be a royal pain in the ass... You are one brave author!

I can't wait to read the next chapter... In the words of the great Pokemon trainer Jimmy, "You rock, you rule!"

Lol well it's been a while since the last update, and I'm appalled to see no one else reviewed the last chapter. I at least wanted to drop a line to let you know this story is still stuck in my head and I really hope you're still writing more to it!

Unfortunately I've never played or watched Tales of Legendia, so afraid the reference was lost on me.
Well now it's suspense time... we all know what's coming but not how it's coming... could be from anywhere or anyone... at anytime! And personally, I think Misty is losing her mind, something's gonna give in there... only a matter of time! With Ash, I want to sneak up behind him and shout "BOO!" and watch as he tries to come down from the ceiling. It would probably be pretty easy to do that to him with his worry and hormones keeping his attention all to themselves.

Once again excellent in the writing department! I don't know where you get your names from, but for a while I was expecting the helicopter pilot to have a two page monologue lol!

Well from what I've read in your comments it would appear we've reached the end of the pre-written part of the story. So I certainly hope you've found your inspiration to continue through with it! I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Doh! You know I read through that part at the Pokecenter... I read the comment at the end where you mentioned May having a glaceon before she did in the series... But for some reason my mind registered that she did own a Glaceon in the story... but that she left it at home... Don't ask me why my thought process went that way... It just somehow strayed I guess.

So OK, I am returning to waiting patiently for the next chapter. I'm trying incredibly hard to ignore your other post "Violated" I've got this thing about reading or watching things out of order, it throws me off... Which as you can see above isn't hard to do lol!

And yeah... I did post the first few chapters of my story up... My writing is definitely not to everyone's tastes as it would appear there are not many yaoi writers in the Pokemon fandom. There are only like 10 other stories there besides mine... So if that's outside your interest scope then don't worry about it, I will still be loyally awaiting the next installment of... (Was about to say Seven Days of Terror but I remember you mentioning you were considering other titles...) Your story!

Hey again!

OK, like a few days later this finally bugs me enough to ask about it. May's Pokemon, Queen Frostine, I read through the chapter picturing a Frosslass and thinking that "Queen Frostine" was the nickname for it. So now I gotta know if if I was right in my assumption or if I'm batting to left field, lol.

Well hope your writing is coming along good and I can't wait for you to post the next part!
