    In a word? Delicious.

In a procrastinating haze I wandered into this section of AFF.net. Having not been here in a while I poked around and by chance stumbled upon this not-so-little slice of heaven.

By the first chapter, I was intrigued. Chapter five? Enraptured. And finally by chapter ten I couldn't bear to shut the laptop and save the story for the morning. I finished all current sixty chapters in a matter of hours. My dear, you have pure talent! Writing like this is a rare find for me in the Hellsing genre. Even rarer that I find a story so fun to read it keeps me awake well past the time to pass out.

The story flows seamlessly from character to character, dialog all captivating and thought provoking to myself, the reader. The way Seras is portrayed as an evolving persona from 'clinging to a few shreds of humanity' at the start to gradually opening up under Alucard's influence is refreshing.

Clever foreshadowing I see going on with Seras and her 'heartbeat', hinting of many good things to come. I won't think on it too long and spoil the surprise for myself later on in future installments of your marvelous story...if my hunch turns out to be true!

Anywho, just dropping my review in to credit and laud you for your perfect portrayal of an ideal Alucard and Seras story. See this through to the end! I hope to read a wonderful conclusion to a brilliant piece of writing.

    Adieu for now!

^^ Drunk Anderson is interesting- I hope we see a few more moments of him like that. I wonder if he can stay drunk though- being a Regenerist probably means that alcohol passes quickly through his system.

I wouldn't want to drink from STD-infected people as well; it's amazing how a few well chosen words can suddenly make you feel a bit nauseous.

That was a wonderful moment between Alucard and Seras. Sometimes all a person needs is a good friend to be supportive, and Alucard hasn't really displayed that until now. Also, now they've both seen each other cry, so it's like their starting to stand on equal ground now. Of course, Seras still has a ways to go, but still, it's definitely progress.

    Keep up the good work!

So, that ruined my appetite as well haha

I truly enjoy the depth of the character background. Its nice to see someone exploring the past experiences that can explain the character we are accustomed too. You do this very nicely and VERY believably might I add.

Just curious if we will see Alucards hound form anytime? I know you mentioned it in passing a while back, but I just cant get the image of Dog chasing Cat out of my head. Maybe a little too comical for the type of story? lol Ahh well If only for my own amusement then ;)

    Cant wait for more!

I both enjoy and at times hate your descriptive abilities...bleh, that was gross. *shutter* I like the development of their relationship and Seras' power with out it really being the main focus of the chapter. Keep up the good work. ^.~

As always, I love seeing updates on these. Something I'd like to see is a bit of intimate actions. You know what I mean. *hinthint winkwink say no more*
j/k. But for a way to go about it, have like a heated argument. Bring up "You could love Elizabetha so easily, what's wrong with me?" type of thing, and have like ... angry make-out session. Or a bit more with Anderson walking in and ruining it. Some ideas. :)

Such sadness and beauty combined in this story..well written mate I loved how Alucard recognised Seras'pain and didn't mock her but gently respected and understood her which is the only thing she really wanted :). I think that you can really see that it's not only a physical attraction anymore coming from Alucard towards Seras. He's sympathising with her and is her friend which is the foundation of every relationship. We all know he wants to fuck her, just keeping it real lol.I'm happy you didn't make a story where he suddenly out of nowwhere falls in love with seras and then screws her. Love grows and it is definately growing in this fic. I was missing Seras' compassionate side but totally found it again in this fic when she showed respect for the window. I Lol'd at the stinky penis though rofl brilliant! First the brilliant breasts now the stinky penis I cant wait for the next fic :D. Still praying for that Lemon but I know you got a plan ;) all in due time...all in due time and what a fun time it will be. Judging by the way you write and describe so well I can only imagine. Keep it up with the writting I'll be here...hoovering over my computer...waiting in the shadows for a new chapter (no life at all).

It always makes my day to see an update even if it isn't as regularly as it first was, and I totally laughed out loud at the last line of chapter 59.

Awesome update. I'm sorry I can't really think back to give you a comment on anything but that parting shot from Alucard...that drew all my attention. Lecherous old vampire. *giggles madly* Thank you once again for being and amazing author.

I love this story, it has such a natural voice for the characters. And I love that you write out Anderson's accent.

Hm, a short chapter, but a good chapter nonetheless. It's interesting how Anderson and probably the rest of the Iscariots literally carry the symbols of Judas around. I suppose that's a sign of their zealous faith in Catholicism, especially for Anderson since he's technically defrocked.

Hm, it seems that Seras's train of thought always slows down and focuses solely on Alucard every time they're close. I wonder if it's a part of their bond, or something that's unique to Seras... I liked seeing Alucard admit that he's confused about what kind of love Seras has for him, it shows how he has as much to learn about this relationship as Seras does. And Alucard would openly tell her that she has lovely breasts, tee hee...

I can't wait to see what happens next, keep up the good work!

yeay! new chapters! I love how alucard is so erudite and cerebral one moment and then utterly base the next He's so refreshingly pithy... the 'you have lovely breasts' thing made me giggle a lot! Somehow even with deviating wildly from manga/ anime you've managed to keep his character utterly believable, so thankyou so much for keeping this story up! Also! Anderson's surly acceptance of his role as Seras' friend continues to amuse me deeply, but if you do anything horrible to Walter after totally selling me on him being young and sexy again, I'll be obliged to throw my hands up in despair :-)
