Nice... Very nice.
I don't think I've come across a story with this kind of setting but it's refreshing. I just loved the dialogue, it was so much fun.
And I for one am not a barbarian since I always read the author's notes. (Yes, I suffer from chronic good manners. Some day I'll have medication for it.)
