Reviews for Earth to Earth

Haha it's probably weird leaving a review on a story posted 16 years ago but I must say you have an amazing writing style! Even though this isn't complete and probably never will be I enjoyed it quite a bit. I like that you mentioned Vash feeling he's lost his enemy but also his brother!! And the protective nature Vash has over Knives despite everything. I hope you're still out there creating beautiful works~

    hello!
I've just started reading this fic, just when you released chapter 14, and I just want to thank you for writing such WONDERFUL stuff. The first chapter almost lost me, though I kept going, and soon I was hooked. I'm a little sad because this last chapter has been the one to make me want to continue reading the most...So I hope your muses are swift and diligent and give you the next chapter soon!
I also wanted to say that I really do appreciate the fact that this story has such increadible depth and artfullness, that the plot isn't simply a means to dispense gratuitous smut (not that I don't fully enjoy gratuitous smut - in fact I seek it out often - its just that I also deeply enjoy character, drama and emotional substance, especially where great characters like Knives and Vash are concerned - they have such a fantastically complex relationship, tragic and beautiful, and it isn't often done justice in fanfiction.)
Anyway, before I ramble much more, I think you're doing a FANTASTIC job. I suppose I'm sad to see Vash as sad as you've been writing him when we're all so used to him being (or trying to be) happy go lucky, but I do think that his darkness as you've written it is appropriate to the novel situation that he now finds himself in. I look forward to seeing how you will develop Knives as he regains himself. I'm sorry I can't really provide any useful criticism - I can only say that I love it so far, and keep up the great work!!

Wow! What a refreshing read. You can certainly write, and you have the patience to construct a plot well. Please tell me you're working on more installments - it seems like there's a lot more story to tell.

    Excellent job!

I'm only on the second chapter and I already think this is the best Trigun fick I've ever read...and I've read a lot. This chapter was so...emotionally provoking. I'm pretty much a stone when it comes to emotion but this chapter really, god this sounds corney, but it spoke to me. Anyway, it was awsome and I can't wait to read the rest.

I like it. I'm glad to see Vash has finally quit trying to hide the truth from Knives. I'd wondered what he was going to do if Knives' powers started acting up again, like on the ship.

I enjoy your attentiont to the little details. Knives not understanding the concept of money; Vash not realizing he no longer knows how to read a clock; the completely alien nature of things he knows he should understand but can't. The mention of the movie was a good moment; remembering watching it with Vash and someone else, and that Vash didn't like it, but not being able to remember Rem or where it occured.

I'll be interested in seeing where you go from here. While I'd like a happy (or at least semi-happy) ending, I'm not sure how realistic that would be if Knives truly gets his memory back.

I look forward to the next chapter.

MOST excellent! I just got back from your site and was reading the latest updates. Checked out some of the art too, which I would like to compliment you on! I haven't done any Trigun art in a long time, but you got me hooked on it again. Gah, I gotta draw Legato now. :D Anyway, your fic is wonderful. I love long chapters, I just can't get enough. There's so much I want to praise and worship, but I can find the words, so we'll leave it at this: I'm SO adding this to my rec when I log on!

Your writing style is so wonderfully poetic and captivating. I adore this story. There's nothing else like it - and that is a beautiful thing.

(I had been following this story at ff.net, but having found it here I'll review it now.) A well written and excellent take on what may have happened at the end of the anime. The plot is very well thought out and coming along nicely. The chapter of Knives's memories, probably being the turning point of this story, was threaded together well. I'm eager to see how the story develops from this point on and how Knives will react. Keep up the good work and update soon, please. ^_^
