Alright, so I got the link to this fic from a friend and I have three words to sum up how I feel about it.

    I LOVE IT!

I've never been into gay/bi fics, but once I started reading this, I couldn't stop. I figured I would wait until I reached the end to review, but I had to do it now. It's well written and I love the relationship between Ken and Ran. It's so sweet! And I love that it's about vampires. Well done with the logic by the way. I get it totally!

Off now to read the rest of this wonderful fic!

Sorry I've been M.I.A for a while, but i really think it picked up in the last few chapters. Maybe you should go back and fix up the few in the middle that went by too fast, but all in all it was awesome. I'd love to read whatever stories you plan on writing next!!!

It's been one crazy ride reading this fic. I loved it. The ending seemed a bit rushed, though. The conclusion with Shion didn't seem nearly wrapped up completely, and the last scene was too fast. Ran didn't want to push Ken into becoming a vampire, but the way he just bit him without warning in the end was, well,... Don't get me wrong, I still liked it, but it was a bit disappointing. It is a really plot-filled story that leaves you hungry for more.

Anyways, I hope you'll find some inspiration to write a sequel. It would make me so happy if there will be one someday. I would definitely be one to read it! Besides, I really can't see sweet Kenken adapt to being a vampire quickly. Could he really 'stain' people for every feeding and be completely guilt-free? Good luck with your future stories! Hope to read your work again!

Okay, I don't know if it really still matters that I review the chapter because you ende the story, but here goes anyways.
I must say that You really noticed in this chapter that you wanted to end it. First you have the confession of Ran that comes out of nowhere since he had decided not to own up out of fear of loosing Ken (and getting killed by Yohji) and then al of o sudden Ken is changed into a vampire. I find it kinda sad that you wanted to end it so desperately because it kinda brings the story down.
Okay, let's start with Ran's confession. I thought you would let Ran wait longer with his revelation about his night with Shion or may be even that Shion would tell Ken or Yohji would let it slip. So I was very surprised that he decided to own up to Ken. And that completed the circle. First you have Kase cheating on Ken which sends the poor boy down into a depression but luckely our Ran is there to get him out of it and now Ken's saviour does exactly the same thing. Poor Kenken!!!
But okay you let Aya explain that there is a special bond between master and his pupil which made the cheating a little less bad (although personally I still find that cheating is cheating and if some one does it to me, I don't think I could trust that person any more, but hey Ken is so much better and more forgiving as me so ...)
Well you may have wanted to end the story but you still throw something into the chapter which makes me go "Hé who the hell is Shion talking about". I want to know who this mysterious lover was and I was disappointed that Ken didn't ask after him. I thought he would certainly bring it up with Ran, but no he wanted just sex with Ran. Damn it, I would die from curiousity (may be I would even track Shion back down and ask him or Schuldig since he seems to have a past with Ran)
And then at last the changing of Ken. In the chapter you let Ran tell Ken that he will change him when the time is there and when Ken is ready for it, but then all of a sudden he just bites Ken during make-up sex. NOT FAIR! I had imagined it far more romantic than this. Okay changing into a vampire isn't really on my list of a perfect date, but if you look back at how Ken and Ran interacted, it is strang that Ran suddenly does this out of the blue. What I did love about the scene was how he laughed like mad (I'll come back to that in a minute) but that there were still tears running down his cheecks. So okay, may be Ran has lost the plot and is he so scared to lose Ken that he wants to bind Ken to him by changing him (special band between master and pupîl). It would certainly explain the last bit of the chapter and we have to admit that Ran wasn't doing so well any more in the psychic department regarding Ken. (OBSESSIVE and POSSESSIVE) But although he has lost it, some where deep down there is still the old Ran who cries for what he has done to his lover. Who cries for what life he has condemned his lover to. So the tears were a nice touch.
Okay now something that isn't perhaps really relative, but hey I'm putting it down any ways. I've read some where that the Unicorn is the symbol of innocence and I remember that you let Ran say that Ken was his Unicorn in one of the first chapters. Anyways there was a paragraph that struck me and that kinda suits this fiction. "And The Unicorn knew she wasn't meant to go into the Dark Wood. Disregarding the advice given to her by the spirits, Unicorn went inside and bled silver blood. For her misdeed, the world knew evil." So if Ken is the Unicorn then you could say that Ran is the Dark Woods that Ken shouldn't have approached and entered. And Ken bleeds also at the end of the fiction when Ran bits him and he also turns into a vampire which would then represent the Evil that the world knows. Well may be I'm taking this to far, but it just popped in my head when I read those lines. Hey, if you would start a continuation of the story, may be you can start with those few lines to introduce the story.
Any ways I think that it would be nice to read a continuation that happens 500 years later. But just wait with that till you have enough ideas for it and you're batteries are fully charged.
Thank you for the wonderfull story (bows politely) and I hope to read one of your stories again some day!

Hey, you've updated so fast.! I haven't even had the chance to review chapter 22. Well here goes (just remember I heaven't read the next chapter yet, so may be I'm going to put things in here that aren't in comparisson with chapter 23)
I found it a pity that you let Ken start to break down over Ran. Okay that you have a heart-ache, but Ken really would have killed himself if Ran hadn't come back. It found it such a shame because previous chapter he had seemed so much more stronger and I got the idea that he would make it without Ran if this was necessary. But hey you made him call Ran 78 times (he must have a great deal with the phone company or he will get a heart attack from the bill when he recieves it).
And then Ran. I can't blame him because his battery was death. I often get scolded at also because people try to reach me and I've turned my phone off or it has gone death. (and I usually forget to check the damn thing until one of my friends calls my parents house and then lets me have it.) But I never missed 78 messages. I think this is a record (call the Guiness Book of Worldrecords)
-As for Ran's sleeping with his master, I once read that vampires will always stay attracted to the ones that made them into the night creature. So if you combine this with his heart ache, it is understandeble that he and Shion slept together. I only hope that Shion won't cause any more problems. Okay he admits that he can feel the love between Ran and Ken but when you are obsessed about some one, well ....
And then Schuldig giving Shion such a glare. Is Shion probably also Schuldig's creator??? And is that why Ran taught Schuldig everything because he felt guilty about wath his master had done?
Okay, I'm not going to write much more, since there 's already an update. So I'll just read it tonight and review further on then, okay???

    Hey,

I'm glad you liked my thoughts about Ran's possessiveness. For the moment I don't really have other ideas or suggestions, but may be they'll come to me as the story continues (does a dance of joy because the story will be continued). I like the idea to put in Ran's master and may be you could also let Yuriko come back (poor girl, you made her into a stalker).
Now, as for the chapter, you go Ken! I was really impressed how Ken stood up for himself against Ran. I found it really amazing since in one of the previous chapters he had told Yohji he couldn't live without Ran (when Ausaka shows up) and now he tells Ran that if he must he'll be able to go on without the vampire. It shows how much Ken has matured during the whole ordeal with Takatori.
On the other end I kinda could see Ran's point. He just wants to keep his lover safe. Unfortunately he really went about it the wrong way. It kinda makes you wonder if he was also like that in previous realtionships or that may be something happened in the past to one of his previous lovers or friends that makes him so scared to lose Ken. But I guess we'll get more to know about Ran's past when his master shows up.
Anyway I really liked how you described the argument. I could just picture them in front of me going of on each other. And as in every argument you mostly get so worked up that you start saying things you'll regreat deeply later on (and I do belive that this will be manely in Ran's case). So I found it very reallistic.
The whole picture thing was also nice. Ran starting to feel insecure because Ken had never laughed to him like he did on the picture with Kase. It shows that Ken isn't the only one who has dificulities with relationships. Even our Ran who seems like a rock to cling on, has his own issues to deal with. (May I suggest some psychiatric counceling) It's really (damn it how many times have I used this word yet?) nice to see the characters develop more and to get to know them better.
Hope you'll update soon and till then,

    kisses and hugges

Uh oh, trouble in paradise. Ran's possessiveness is getting him into trouble but I know Ken will forgive him!

Ken is of a rare type, being able to forgive Kase like that. Ken is just sooo sweet and that's why I love him so much. Don't worry the chapter made perfect sense. I think you should bring in Ran's master.... that could make for some really awesome plotlines.
