This is one of the funniest, most perceptive stories I've read in a long time.

I really love how sanzo rationalised everything before speaking and causing another riff in his shaky relationship with goku and he accepted that he does have some things that have to be worked on from within himself. And goku explaining his actions as best as he could without getting confrontational about how sanzo treats him on rainy days or any bad day he may encounter along the way, I look forward to your next update.

chapters 8 and 9 - Still very good stuff ... but... these two chapters felt a little disjointed. i almost felt like i missed a chapter, or missed some things in the previous chapter. not anything big and important, just some details. maybe it's because the story is serialized and there's too much time between readings? not that i'm saying you need to write or post faster - certainly not - you take your time - just that the nature of a serial is that there is time between readings.

by the way, i love the titles of the chapters. thank you for writing and posting!

And where does this leave Gojyo? Maybe Hakkai can pick up the pieces of his broken heart...

What a chapter. To think that Gojyo had actually beaten Sanzo. Sanzo! With words! Gojyo, of all people!

    Wow.

To Sanzo's credit he actually has a very leveled head when it comes to complicated situations, however he doesn't seem to show this aspect very well when it comes to dealing with his own emotions -I think that you've demonstrated this very well. Gojyo has never been an angry person, if anything I think he might be the most patient of the group, nor has he ever been very deadly, so in trade of this I think that many underestimate him. This is what I found to be the gem of the chapter, how you've managed to show Gojyo's intelligence and will when push comes to shove, whilst still doing it in a very Gojyo way. To this I say bravo.

And the added humor is always a welcome. It, somehow, puts this whole problem at an easier pace and reminds us that, although things have been rough as of late, their relationship with each other will still hold strong; no matter what. Brilliant, as usual, with the only fault being that it was short.

This is a great fic. You know what would really throw a wrench in the works and throw everyone for a curve ... let Goku tell off both Sanzo (taking advantage of him emotionally) and Gojyo (taking advantage of him sexually)and go for Hakkai (the only one who has really been nice to him) ... then Sanzo can take it out on Gojyo (hmmm ... Sanzo dominating Gojyo to let him see what it was like for Goku that first night???)

Wow that was certainly worth the wait i'm immensely enjoying this story you have captured my attention from now until the last chapter gets posted up to this story.
And as much as sanzo deserved that wake up call i kinda felt bad that he decked goyjo the way that he did.
And now hakkai has to heal goyjo's eye.

chapter 7 - sometimes i find that the best stories were never intended as such. i think it happens because it then, when the author is not really trying so hard, that the characters can speak and act for themselves. the story just happens and you let it because you as the writer were not attached to anything preconceived. you are not pushing and pulling the characters or manipulating the events to make other planned things make sense. You are just going where the characters and story leads. and then before you know it you are one step ahead of them and i control. sort of.

anyway, another short but good chapter. i am loving that Goku still loves Sanzo. the grain of sand metaphor was great. and i think that Goku's unwavering love, unconditional love for Sanzo does not make his feelings for Gojyo any less. and i think this is something that these 4 will realize - and i think it may even be prevalent in the canon - it's that they all have special unique relationships with each other - none better or less than the others, just different.

and what exactly do Hakkai and Sanzo do when they are holed up in their room together? my my, the wicked things that come to mind ...

chapter 6 - wow. the last lines there - quite unexpected. and GOOD. the sex was wonderfully written as well, no frills, nothing cheesy romance about it, everything honest and dirty. left my heart pounding a bit. and then slam! headtrip with the internal thoughts from Gojyo. you've given him a great voice. Goku too. such a weird pairing for me, but you are making it work. i think it is the honesty in the characters. thank you.

    They were morbidly embarrassed, huh?
That they were fighting over Goku?
That's just...sad, for lack of a better word, but what makes it even more so is that this would be the most probable outcome for the situation.

Hakkai and Goku's talk was really refreshing in its bluntness. I guess that's what makes your writing so easy to read, how straight forward and yet insightful it is.

I won't ask of a particular pairing because I love your story and I don't care where it ends up, because I know that whatever you do, it'll still be great at the end. Just continue!

I'm really enjoying this story i've reread all the chapters at least 3x already and it just keeps getting better.

But what i want to know is will sanzo and goku stay together and have some type of relationship?

And the same thing with hakkai and goyjo? Will goyjo and hakkai try to establish a relationship or just remain friends?

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t review stories as much as I should. I’ll also admit that it takes a lot to make me sit up and take attention while reading something. Well, guess what? You’re little story here has made me do both. When I first started reading this when it had one or two chapters I thought, “Okay, something nice and smutty to pass the time. Sounds good to me.” Who the hell knew it’d be something so much more? You tricked me, you evil, delightful person!

I can’t say what I love more about this story. It’s hard to put into words, really. For something that has short chapters you put so much thought and depth into some of the scenes and words it’s hard not to your sink your teeth into it and hold on for all it’s worth. The sex scenes are wonderful and satisfying, the developing relationship between Gojyo and Goku is just beautiful, yet sad at the same time (what with this last chapter), the reactions of Sanzo and Hakkai are more than believable, the humor and timing are so on spot it’s rather refreshing really, and gah! I can just go on and on!

I think all that’s left to say is that I thoroughly love this. Your writing is just pure beauty in the form of words. I can’t wait for more and thank you for giving me a treat that is such a delightful surprise and I hope you continue with the great work. (Was that too over the top?)

    Sex, hot

    After glow, fangirl worthy

GojyoxGokuxGojyo, priceless (great, I now sound like a MasterCard commercial -aussie thing)

There were some missing comers here and there and I think that you have some typos here and there.

It's refreshing to see that Gojyo acknowledges the fact that, indeed, Goku had found someone else a long time ago, five-hundred years to be exact. And it's saddening to know that Gojyo realizes that he can't love someone in that aspect. This is the point where readers start to throw pity at the characters, especially at Gojyo but the way in which he addressed the situation did not call for pity, rather amiability. I find it hard, however, to figure out whether he's fighting for Goku out of Goku's sake or his own.

Gojyo is putting a lot on the line at the moment and he does it so easily that I can't help but hope that he ends up with Goku. He may not know how to love but he's getting there.

...so bring the next chapter already!

The story is going well but to be honest I'd like to see Gojyo lose Goku to Sanzo ... after Sanzo let Gojyo know how Goku felt that first night .... I'm sure he can find a way to bind him long enough to do that while Hakkai and Goku spend some time getting stocked up on food ... and Goku getting fed.
