    Hi Hespera,

As your Author's profile has your E-mail hidden, I thought I'd respond here. (Hope you see this message, BTW, LOL!)

Thank you so much for the great feedback. Much appreicated. And I really relate to your take on Guy. Such an interesting character. His sincere regret at the end of the AnK OVA really resonated with me and I found that I wanted to pen a fic for him where he was able to regain his dignity.

If you're interested, I have a continuation of this series at my LJ - ainzfern.livejournal.com - where Guy and Kaiya are featured and will in fact play a large part in the ongoing plot.

Also, for an amazing AnK WIP which features the long-haired lovely, check out ElegantPaw's gritty post OVA version of events
    - http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5012180/1/Ai_No_Kusabi_Black_Moon_Rising - her version of Guy is sublime.

Again, my sincere thanks for the great feedback.

Hey, there. That was an incredibly wonderful story. Lately, I've been experiencing quite a crush on Guy, and there are not many stories to treat him to large extents, like I wish. In my searches, I stumbled upon this, and, oh, you really made my day. Right now, I am just reading the story again.

I liked so much how you portrayed Guy here, and life in the slums. Practically, there is little we know about how people live there, because they do live, with the good and the bad. Mostly, the bad, I guess, but life may not be so beautiful if it weren't so difficult at times. And, after Dana Bahn, Guy has to be a legend in the slums, the man without one arm, that fought a Tanagura Blondie and survived. He looks cold and composed, but he still has a heart somewhere. I bet he feels his blood run to his feet when he sees Kaiya for the very first time, although nothing is given away.

I also loved Kaiya, a bold, clever, yet innocent teenage mongrel, that gets the chance to meet that living legend, and is engrossed in Guy's personality. He is really sweet, without being overly so, and he wishes to get somehow to Guy's heart.

The scene when he starts crying ... oh, so much insecurity ... really lovely how you portrayed things.

I loved it, thank you so much!
