When I saw you'd updated (twice!) I stayed up until like five in the morning reading this. Christ. My favorite thing about it is that I really can't tell where it's going to end up! Thanks both for writing so much in your chapters and for actually furthering plot and characterization with that "so much" instead of just inconsequential crap. I would never have expected to find something this compelling here.

not being on for a few days and then finding 2 chapters up when i do decide to check on the stories in progress that i am reading. god must love me. i prefer with an r instead of an l just 'cause but i figured i can just enjoy the story and not pay attention to the spelling of the name of the one man i want to strangle in the whole story since suzaku (spelling?) already killed bradley.

lkfjslfj I've been checking every day and I was so excited to see more of it. I loved Suzaku's fight and knighthood in chapter 5, and most of chapter 6 makes me melt. The kiss dfkjgdljg and then the confrontation after Rolo's reveal dflkjdlfg and DO WANT the next chapter!!

This is just absolutely amazing. No joke. I try to find stories like this on AFF and rarely do I come across them anymore. I did have to go back a couple times and re-read some parts, but the plot is...just that good. I'm hooked on this story. I can't wait to see what Lelouch will do next. I really can't. Please keep writing. ^_^

I am breathless waiting for more of this story! I was enjoying it before, but this latest chapter is is huge. I think what you're doing with Lelouch is 100% justified and makes perfect sense - from his reaction to the big reveal to his slow reassembling of himself to his shattering when he sees what they've done to his office - and the scene where he and Gino punish the plant is just tense and rattling and wonderful.

(I also love what you've done with Gino, like seriously love, it surprised me and delighted me, but as a Gino/Kallen OTPer I am also sad.)

I will check back every day until you write more. :|

"This chapter was incredibly difficult to write..."
But please know that it has paid of handsomely because you have me, as a reader, go through what Lelouch has gone through, suffer what he has suffered.

"...and I expect it will be somewhat of a challenge to read."
Yes, but it was by no means a pain. In fact, it increases the pleasure.

Hey, it's me. After reading the fourth chapter, I was completely blown away and couldn't help reviewing again. It is--powerful is the only word I can think of. I'd say I can't imagine what Lelouch must be going through but you practically put me in his shoes with your writing so I can't say that anymore. I actually found myself with tears in my eyes in that one scene where you had him at the beginning stages of breaking down, empathizing with the poor bastard. And by the end of the chapter, I found myself thinking, "Damn. That's some amazing story-crafting skill you've got there. With the writing ability to back it up." This story is one hell of a story (and it isn't even finished yet), written by one hell of a writer. You can be rest assured that I'll be checking back for the next chapter every opportunity I get.

this is great. i love it. i have no note-worthy complaints. the only complaint i have is i have to wait for the next update. thank you for a long chapter and i hope you take the same care with the rest of the story and not grow tired of it in the long run because that usually ruins a great story which this is.

I had to read chapter 4 twice in order to come up with a coherent review (meaning that I loved it to bits, typos aside). It is understandable why Lelouch reacted the way he did after a part of him was taken away--that boy is possessive and defensive as hell. I like it that you have more than one angle besides the serial killer case worked into the flow of the fic. While I can see Lelouch getting on the warpath because of Schneizel, I wonder how the rest of the family going to take his defection. *patiently waiting for the next part*

I wish to be fluent in English to tell you how much I love your story and awesome it is. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching a wonderful movie. Officially, I'm your fan now, since I'm checking everyday for an update on either one of your stories. Thank you for the update and keep on the great work.

I'm usually too much of a lazy arse to review but your story really deserves it. The intricacy of the tale you're weaving and the AU setting of it makes it seem very much like an original story. And since we are familiar with the characters already, they grow on you right from the get-go because they're still very much in-character in your story despite it being able to stand alone from the original. It's thoroughly enjoyable but more than that, it's utterly riveting. I don't think I missed even a word. I do hope you have plans to finish this.

This story is such a breath of fresh air and I can not thank you enough for sharing it. It hits on so many of my personal poisons and I just hope that you continue to write this wonderful piece. This is definitely one of the few fanfictions in any fandom that I will reread simply for the joy of it. Thank you thank you thank you!
