I just wanted to let you know that I haven't been this obsessed with reading a story sense I first picked up the Hunger Games trilogy. It was absolutely brilliant and I'll be hunting around for the sequel!

Wow! This is one of the best stories i have read so far.

The only parings i liked in d-gray man is Yuullen but now im in love with tykixlavi i hope there are more stories out there on it.

The ending is really good but i can't help but wonder what allen was seeing in the mirror, honestly it kind of scared me

I really like this story! I would like you to write a story that goes along with this but it be a Yullen. what i mean is that it's from Allen and Kanda's perspective.

Wow I made it to the end! Which is an achievement, but also sad. I feel that I must thank you for so many hours of wonderful entertainment and a story that improved as it went along. Usually I wouldn't go for this pairing, but once I began this story the way it was written kept me reading and by the end I was loving it so much that I didn't care that it was Lavi and Tyki; I really believed their relationship. I felt sad for Bookman though, but I thought you handled the Lavi vs. Bookman Junior dilemma very well indeed.

One thing I would have liked to have seen more of was the development of the relationship between Allen and Kanda. I loved the touches of sexual tension you added in! I understand that it wasn't their story though.

One of the biggest and most wonderful strengths of this writing was how realistic it seemed with regards to the anime. These events could literally have happened in episodes of D.Gray-Man... aside from the sex of course. If only, eh?! Also at times I feared that the events would veer towards melodrama and Lavi would commit suicide from depression or stop eating or take drugs... I'm so so glad that you didn't write anything like that!

All in all a wonderful, enjoyable, gripping story and thank you very much for sharing!
(Ans shhhush but you may have converted me to liking this pairing. Or maybe it's just the way that you write it

    Well..it's over.
I'm sad and happy at the same time. Thanks God you like happy endings, because i'll kille myself if the two of them had gone two separate ways.
First: thanks for the history. It was the 1 TykiXLavi fic i read, and of course, becuase of yours i'll keep reading them.
Second: Hurra!!! A sequel!!! I love sequels! Because we can read about past characters and see how life has treated them, and of course, because of the new history...Allen and Kanda!
What else? I think that is all! See you soon!!!

I really loved the ending to your A Game of Poker story. I had only picked it up a week ago, but i'm a fast reader >_> I'm interested to know if your going to poke at a Yullen fic from this same university, and if you plan to wonderfully end the whole D. Grayman series with Yullen/Lucky slashes =3 I'd love to see the end of the Earl at the hands of a Duo Fic (two slashes in one fic). I'm definitely a subscriber, lol.

I have only come across a few fanfics that have lived up to my grand expectations of them. This one, I am pleased to say, is most definitely one of my favourites. Not only is it rife with delish boy love but it also successfully carries a wonderful plot. Well written and extremely entertaining.

I am looking forward to discovering which choice Lavi makes... if it comes down to a choice of course - although a too happy ending always seems to ruin it for me, some semblance of twisty twistyness is always satisfying-. Also looking forward to the no doubt inevitable clash of the titans and the sparks when Kanada and Allen finally admit their obvious want for each other. Mmmmmmm. Maybe they deserve a fanfic of their own, with the storyline after the end of the anime, I would definitely be interested in seeing what sort of plot you could come up with for that. I think im drooling a tad.... one moment.............

I can hardly wait for the next chapter. Although it is getting awfully close to christmas so I wont badger you unmercifully... much. BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER.... okay thats it.

Just one last thing before I go: Thank you for publishing this and sharing with us rabid boyxboy fans! Awesomeness becomes you! =^.^=

I just spent about a week reading AGOP and although I don't think I would ever usually go for Tyki and Lavi together I just can't help it with this fic.
Lavi should just not be a bookman. In the story or the anime/manga! His personality just doesn't work well with being a bookman and not having loved ones in his life.
I just love your story and love how it's escalated and I really would like to read more so please don't discontinue it! (or let me know if you have)
Update it as soon as you can, I can't wait to read more.
Oh, also I absolutely love Kanda in this story. :)

Hey! I love your story 'A Game of Poker' - finished it in the space of just two days. I am wildly hoping that you will update it again - and soon!
The way you write is brilliant, and I enjoy the way you flesh out the story with the characters' feelings, rather than just leaving it at their actions. It's not easy to find a fan-fic as well written and this one is. And kudos on the engrossing plot and keeping the details and characters so accurate!

    Hello,

it took me all day yesterday to read this story, and I finished very late, with my brain completely empty so I didn't think I would leave you a GOOD review, but today I'm back :0 And I must say that first of all, I thoroughly enjoyed your story :D I'm currently watching D.Gray-man (yes, yes, I know, I'm waaaay behind but still :P) and since I stumbled upon the epi with Tykki Mikk, I decided to give your story a try. OMG, I'm so happy I did!

First of all, your Tykki (as you portray him) is not only smoking hot but also quite true to his character! The original one is also very hot (and the voooiiiceeee *swoons*) but admittedly, he's a bastard while you made the transition from a bastard to a likable person plausible and natural. Nothing is rushed there, you take your time and make the transitions smooth.

I love how both Tykki and Lavi never actually say that they like each other, how they struggle to hide their feeling even from themselves. The biggest mistake that author can make is to make two opposite-polar characters say early on that they love each other; the suspense is destroyed and - at least for me - there's nothing to wait for. In the case of your story it's quite the opposite! The expectation is very high, and I virtually can't wait for one of them to break and admit to HIMSELF that he loves the other. Well, Lavi was VERY CLOSE to admitting it, but still ...

What else? Ahh! You played the fact that they are mortal enemies perfectly! While reading the story, one can actually FEEL the barrier between the red head and the Noah of Pleasure, Lavi being the future Bookman and Tykki well, being on the side of the Millenium Baron. And later on, when Tykki actually joins the Black Order and is still not trusted, you cannot help but sympathize with Tykki.

Oh, one more thing, a very small, actually; I loved how you made Tykki play with Kanda's feelings when he joined Allen for meal :D I could almost see steam coming from poor baKanda's ears :D Made me chuckle to no end :D

Ahh, this review grew enormously >_> But I really enjoyed your story so far and looking forward to more, whenever you're going to update. Thanks for your hard work so far and good luck!
