Tell me that did not just happen. Tell me it didn't happen exactly like I thought it did.
Yamamoto couldn't have just KILLED Squalo like that, could he?
Tell me he just pressed the sword in his ribs, that this is just a drabble about their sparring. Surely the alternative is too hideous to be imagined.
But like Yamamoto says, the way you captured Squalo is breathtakingly beautiful. This fic is truly a stirring masterpiece, and I admit to have read its short simplicity with humbled awe and an appreciative eye, even as I was terrified.
