    Wow, just... wow!

It is so difficult to find an AnK fanfiction anywhere near this quality, well done! The characterisations are spot on for Iason and Riki which a lot of people seem to struggle with and, like you, I'm a stickler particularly when it comes to this fandom for people keeping to canon and the characters 'in-character'.

Anyway, I loved the fact that there is a violence throughout this piece (and the plot) which is strikingly reminiscent of the books but there were so many subtle hints towards the characters true feelings for each other buried within. The dialogue between Iason and Orphe in their opening scene is perfectly pitched with just the right amount of contempt and politeness and Iason's courteous evasiveness speaks volumes about his possessiveness towards Riki. Along the same lines, the whole 'Riki can only hear Iason' thing is a nice loophole on Iason's part during the soiree, keeping up appearances but making sure Riki stays focused on him. I also especially liked the fact that Riki calls Iason's name when he finally gets release because you didn't over-write it as I think some would have been tempted to do. It leaves it nicely hanging as to whether or not he was calling Iason's name angrily or in his passion (though I think we all know the answer!!).

There's probably loads more I could think to say about this story but those were the things that struck me most on my first read-through. I will no doubt return (once the hot-flush from my first read subsides!) and may write an additional review. However I end this one with a desperate plea that you write more AnK work! I was sorely disappointed to find this was your only one and would be thrilled to see other pieces by you so please, please, please, if you can find the inspiration and the time to write more, you certainly have an avid fan here who will pounce on the opportunity to read it!

I absolutely loved the story, and it was so refreshing that someone used the novels as basis. You don't know how many times I have shocked my friends who have only known the OVA version with the fact that Blondies are manufactured sex androids, who aren't allowed to indulge. Many are also often surprised by the fact that there are other classes of elites underneath the blondies. I RP with a friend of mine and we use all of the classes in our game. And you were so true to the characters; I adored it.I hope you will delve into more stories set in the Ai no Kusabi universe of the novels.

Wow....yes I've also read the novels and you've got the cruelty, anger, and sophistication down pat. Iason is as cruel here as in the book, and Orphe is as manipulative as ever to get Iason to conform.

Any chance of more like this coming out of your head?
