This is quite brilliant and evocative. I like the way you used the line spacing to create atmosphere. It reminded me of House of Leaves a little bit.
The part in the end with Ciel always lighting the fires was so nice. I think going just a little heavier on small details like that in the descriptions would have amped the cool dark atmosphere up a notch, and made it even more amazing.
