I liked your reasons as much as I liked your story! Plus, I can't see Hikaru opposing to them, not just for Lantis, but because of the potential friendship between her and Eagle (at least in the anime... since admittedly, I have not read the manga... though I was happy at the Umi-Ascot bit you mentioned). So, yeah, good story, I liked it, it was cute. =]

Actually, in the last manga,Hikaru also said to Lantis that she wanted to marry him AND Eagle. I'm surprised you didn't mention it in your little argument.

And for the reasons you gave, in the German edition, Hikaru says to Eagle: \"Du liebst Lantis wirklich, nicht wahr? Und sicher liebt Lantis dich ebenso.\" More proof! Since it means (for the non-German-speaking people): \"You really love Lantis, don\'t you? And I\'m sure Lantis loves you as well.\"
Well, actually, it\'s the same as reason #1, but... whatever.

I can\'t tell ya how excited I was to FIN see see a Lantis/Eagle fic. I have all the manga and I saw all that too! I love the pairing! Even a threesome is great! This fic was great to read and very emotional! I think ya protrayed the characters wonderfully. I had a problem with how the site displayed the story - made it a little difficult to read - but that was the only problem I had. Though...ya never really did explain how Eagle was able to get in there. *laughs* Sometimes I wonder if he did it on purpose...and if he had more power than he lets on. Ya never know with that crafty little devil. Lantis will definitely have his hands full. *evil smirk*
