Hm ... not much to review, for now.
Please make paragraphs for the next chapter, it is much easier to read then.
Anyway, it sure looks promising - I\'ll give it a 3/5 for now and you try harder for the next chapter. A bit more plot, a little longer, and it\'ll be alright.
PERSONALLY, I think, some Deedlit/Pirotess wouldn\'t hurt either, but ... -_-;;

First thing: the format is a little confuzing to read, so I\'d try spacing it out and making clear who the speaker is.
Second: (just a harmless question, cuz I don\'t remember this from the anime/manga) is the Windurst you speak of from FFX1, or was it truely in the manga? Heh it\'s been a LONG time...
