I\'d have to agree completely with xfirestar. Since I\'ve seen the entire series and the movie, I may be a bit more critical of your story than the average reader. There were several character flaws that made it difficult for me to believe that this was an Escaflowne fic. It\'s more like a regular lemon. Nothing truly remarkable. Insert two other random names and the result would be the same. Still, it kept me engaged enough to read it. Decent work.

I suppose that this story wasn\'t too bad, but it could improve. First of all, the characters personalities were all, pretty much, screwed up. It\'s possible that Van might be suicidal, but the reasons om bem being \"lonely\" are totally too w He He\'s a king and it\'s been deeply embedded into his very self that he had to whatever that is in his power to protect his country and suicide is absolutely not on that list. Also, the way you depicted his character made him sound like a total and complete horny wuss, he has seen war and he has killed people. I\'m sure that that would make ANYONE tough and serious.
Now if Hitomi was a virgin, wouldn\'t she be a bit more shy, nervous, and unknowing during her first time instead of giving the guy a professional hand and blow-job?
I also think that you should\'ve put a bit more effort into developing the story before rushing to the very act, this is almost nothing more than a random sex scene.

WHOA!!!! That was one lemony fic. *pushes panting youkai away frer cer computer screen* I really like it! Great lemony scenes! Great flow to it as well. I love stories with great flow to them. That was a great fic.
