You've got a niche concept. Honestly, how many stories do you read about Spike and Ed? More importantly, how many of them are well written? Dont worry about the flames. You've got a story so write it. I actually like the coupling of Spike/Ed. Its just different, not impossible, just different. Update soon. In fact, do you know of any other stories like it? I am interested to see how people portray the two. I think you fleshed out the character of Ed as an adult and a mother. Kudos, and good luck.
