GOMEN NASI! GOMEN NASI! I am kangan (ashamed) please forgive this unworthy one, this baka deshi of yours asks for your forgiveness! This story is purely, purely WONDERFUL!!! The minute I read who the leader of the \"made\" were i about died laughing, should have known; the talk between ken-san and nadia nearly broke my heart, it was so sad!!! Loved how you portrayed Kaoru, what a little bitch in the beginning, loved it!!! Chapter 8 when you mentioned the pure bloods who went out to look for kauro and one of them was named Angle, lolololol, could have guessed who I was picturing in myd, hd, huh; I think you should right a character in the \"made\" called Spike, lololol. I liked how you instituted some of the battosai\'s phrases in there, mostly when kenshin calls kauro his \"little one\". I think you need to ask your artists to come up with a picture of kenshin in his \"cel\" form, remember when he was talking to Sano in his office and he changed into his Cel form in front of Sano, Kami!! what a picture that would make..

I think that you captured the true essence of Sano\'s character. While he would be severely ticked off and confused about everything that is going on with Kenshin, I could not honestly see him throwing away a near-life long friendship at the drop of a pin.
The fact that he questioned Kenshin and himself about everything that he has seen within the past few days is completely normal and a human would react in that way. It\'s just human nature to become angry and upset when one is scared or confused. So nobody should fault Sano for having doubts. But just like the true friend that he is and the amount of loyalty that exists between the two character he stands by his friends side and willingly offers to aid in anyway that he can.

Yeesh, I didn\'t expect you to make an entire special update. Really. One little line saying you knew but for the purposes of the fic it had to be abandonded would have been fine. There are too many fanfic authors out there who do no research so I honestly didn\'t know if you knew or not. As for the person who thinks I shouldn\'t be complaining about anything in a vampire story, supernatural beings are outside the bounds of normal rules to begin with. Suspending disbelief for that is easy. Ellis Island however, is quite real. My grandparents and great-grandparents came through there, escaping the pogroms in Eastern Europe and as I said I visited the museum. I have worked as a historian and archaeologist. Your characters are always \'feeling\' when things are \'right\' or \'wrong\'. Well for me it\'s the same with things that touch on history. As for Lilith, if I remember correctly she wanted to be an equal partner, not the dominant one, and she was demonized more by Christianity than Judaism.

For a moment I thought you were going to end the story there. Now I see you just meant finishing that chapter. That is good because this is being VERY good. I am looking forward to Kenshin meeting Hiko. That should prove entertaining, Hiko meeting the wise ass... Where is Misao by the way? Got have that love interest for Aoshi. Sano is SO in character. And by the way, long chapter are wonderful. They keep us fed between updates,which we all pray are short.

I was stressed and tired because my finals will start very soon, and I still have to finish my monograph to be able to graduate, and my job is geting all my time, my sister will marry next saturday and many friends and family will come to my home and I will not have enough time to study or finish all the things I have to do. It\'s almost five in the morning and I was going to bed but I decide to see if a good story was up to help my brain, and... YOU UPDATED!!!!! You have no idea how happy I am right now. I will be able to rest now with some good toughts and I guess I will have some waff dreams with lots of romance in them. Thank you my dear, dear friend! You always bright my day!

I honestly don\'t care if you can\'t use it, its just interesting factoids. I seem to have a love for all things supernatural.

Now, concerning the people who got upset over certain facts. Kaoru is ripping people\'s heads off... and they\'re complaining about Ellis Island? My God people, it\'s a story. Use your imagination. Considering the fact that the story takes characters from a show that has nothing at all to do with vampires, who cares whether or not Ellis Island is abandoned or not. Give it a rest!

Vampire Factoid #1: The first ever known vampire concerns Adam and Eve. In Jewish mythology, Adam had a wife before Eve. Her name was Lillith. Lillith was beautiful, but not happy with her position. I hate to tell you this, but your information on Ellis Island is completely wrong. Long ago, it was abandoned and falling apart but the main processing center was renovated and opened as a museum in 1990, operating under the aegis of the National Park Service. There are thousands of visitors every day. I\'ve spent an entire day there myself. I am enjoying the fic, but when I hit something that I know is wrong it just throws me right out of the story. You might have better luck using Governors Island which is nearby and was off-limits to the public for 200 years.
