Thank you for updating often. It is going quite well. I hope you start some serious emotional romancing soon. And as for being similar to Broken Pieces, don\'t feel bad. Every single fantasie book out there is a spinoff from the Lord of the Rings: A gang of friends that is going to assail an evil being holed up in a mountain. From the Fionavar trilogy from Guy Gavriel Kay (which I love) to the books of David Eddings (which I find funny but rather uninspired). And of course the epic from Robert Jordan. You have plenty of good company!

Ok... I am now in a state of giggles. That was excellent. Poor Kaoru... but what a shock for Kenshin. Breakfast to go. Good thing there was no hot coffee on that tray. YEEOUCH!!
As for Aoshi and Misao... interesting if not a little disconcerting. There is obviously a \'traitor\' inside the organization who \'helped\' Aoshi retrieve his gun... and he is non to concerned about using Miss Misao to get his wounded ass out of there. But it did appear he was a tad shocked by \'the kiss\' they shared. Me thinks he may just end up taking her with him as an \'insurance policy\'. Hmmmm... I like this. And I don\'t think its getting out of control. Its moving well. Very well indeed.
