Oh. My. God. :: breathes deeply :: Okay, so my story starts three days ago when my best friend randomly shouts "Omg I forgot to check if she updated!!!" So, of course, me and my other friend are like "which fic?" and I've been on a mission to finish this ever since. I was four chapters from my goal last night (or rather, this morning) when my other friend texts me saying "SHE FREAKIN UPDATED!!!" So, naturally I panicked and was like "I'm so not going to sleep tonight." I ended up asleep at my computer, waking up with just enough time to make it to my first morning class. I love this story and I think you are the most amazing person EVER. I know that there have been some rough patches with some haters out there and people who don't know the meaning of constructive criticism but I'm so glad that you persevered and continued despite the cruel words of others. I respect that. At first, I know you said that this is a bit cliche but I just wanted to tell you that you've taken the idea and made it your own, painting a beautiful picture from day one years ago to the present, never losing the flow and brightness of color and beauty. I knew from the first paragraph that your writing was unique and wonderful and I just want to thank you for the last three days and for the future updates to come.
Now to my thoughts on the actual story: I am so worried for Li right now that I almost wished I read a little slower just so you'd have updated by the time I got to this chapter. I'm glad, however, that Ralen is *finally* dead. I'm a bit disappointed in Touya but it's understandable that he would act that way, I mean, acknowledging that you're a slave doesn't exactly take away from the deal that had been agreed upon (even if it is Sakura's fault). I wonder how Yue's going to take the departure of Touya, or, if he will even let him go. I don't think Yue will kill Syaoran because it seems to me that Yue needs Syaoran and his magical combat skills. I'm interested in seeing how you'll get poor Syaoran out of his situation. I wonder if Yue will *ever* call him 'Touya' and not 'Toya' although I don't think Touya would handle the transition well... He'd probably get annoyed after getting used to it in the past 5 months.
Enough with this essay, I could probably go on and on with my thoughts but I know how busy you are and would rather you not read my essay of a review in favor of finishing the next chapter. I won't yell at you to hurry up and update soon because I know, as a writer and human being that life happens. May your muse keep you company and I wish you happy writings!

Anyway, judging from the ungodly number of reviews, I'm sure you've heard this before. But I loooooooove this fic soooooo much. I spent the last two weeks staying up late every night just reading it! And then of course wholeheartedly recommending it to all of my friends. I still think everyone is just so in-character, and it seems like that's really hard to do in AU fics! And Yue just melts me into an indistinguishable puddle of fangirl goo.

Is it bad that I totally love Clow?
