Whooo! 40 chapters, This fanfiction keeps getting more epic. :D

woohoo great chapter ^_^ There was a lot of action and I was scared for a minute there. Also, since Yue says that he and Syaoran are going to "talk it over later" I think that it's THEN that's he going to ask for sakura. Honestly I don't think he had any other choice--what would Touya do if he asked for Sakura if front of him? He probably wouldn't let Syaoran explain their relationship and he probably would brush off Sakura too. Also, Touya might start beating him up or something and then they'd both get into trouble.

And I feel like Yue and Touya have sort of gotten closer through this experience...will have to see the extent of that in the next few chapters, but this quote “Thanks are not necessary, Toya, you are my slave. It is my duty to care for and protect you, no matter what” convinces me that Yue still cares very much for Touya. Personally I don't think those bolded lines apply to all slaves XD

And the Void thing was cool and pretty spooky. I wonder if they're going to make another appearance, and if any of the other card spirits are going to too.

now onto the reviews and speculations:
The moment I read the title, the first thing I remembered was that Touya didn't close the door of the passage, so I thought that the monsters got in through there. Apparently that's not how it went, but that was my first impression. The whole chapter was completely enthralling, and the moment I read everyone was panicking I just *knew* that bastard Ralen had forgotten about the slaves. Yes, both of them. I wonder how Yue is going to explain the whole monster thing to the human servants, but he obviously has to explain something to Syaoran because he does know about magic.
Yue has no idea of Syaoran and Sakura, thats the feeling I had when he arrived at the courtyard and didnt notice how close they were. And now Syaoran is going to ask for Sakura, and I am dying to know how. I am also glad he didnt do it back then, it would have been such an ordeal, and he was just soo wounded and everyone scared, and it would have taking lots of talking. And then there's Touya.

Now to Touya and Yue: those two do weave a tangled web! And Touya is being submissive, but he is not liking it! Glad to know that the fighting spirit hasn't banished. It had been soo long since he braided Yue's hair, that that particular scene was strong, and then you have to add the conversation they had, for extra strong. I know why the creature stopped and smelled Touya! It's because Touya smells like Yue, Kero said so himself!! I loved that scene, and how it ended. Its such a contrast seeing a focused warrior like Yue, firing deadly arrows and then shaking with fear for Touya, and I loved how you portrayed it. Oh, and how Touya got all "You are NOT going to fight those monsters!" speech was priceless! The last scene was just beautiful, and Touya feeling protected in spite of all was a nice touch to the very angsty situation he had been living lately.

Hehe, now Kero HAS to come back! They all felt it was stronger than ever, and he has some "blaming" to do to Yue XD Maybe he helps Sakura and Li with Yue...
Oh, and I doubt the void starts targetting Touya. Afterall, she only see things through the monsters, and Yue killed the thing before she ever saw him addressing Touya or anything. She will figure it out, just not so soon.

Okay, did not see that coming!! And Syaoran, you wuss! Just ask the man/entity, the worst that can happen is you're right and he'll say no! Though I think he'll work up the nerve, most probably nudged on by Sakura, to do so early next chapter. Sadly, no, I haven't seen the second CCS Movie as yet, still need to get the last three ep. DVDs so I'm all caught up for it, but thankfully I have in fact heard of Void, in passing, and glanced at the back of the DVD at my local library, so I had a general idea of what it was, though you're right, this is way freakier! I really can't wait for the the next one, for more reasons than one! Laters!!!

This was a very, very long chapter!! Very thrilling too. I was so worried! I had thought there might be more than one, and when Touya found one I knew... Oh, to see Yue so worried!! It makes me think maybe, just maybe he'll admit his love first..? I'm so torn!

So, Yue is already missing Touya's remarks and his behavior... Touya doesn't even realize it, so it's kind of cute. He doesn't understand why Yue wants him to talk. :P Hmmm. Imagining the three of them holding each other in Yue's bed is pretty sweet though. <3

I wonder if Yue will tell Syaoran eventually about his lineage... Also what Sakura is thinking about his answer... It was also a bad time; I think if Yue and Syaoran had been in private, he might have asked for Sakura. Maybe.

That was a really well written fight scene, too! You're just good at writing everything, aren't you? XD I could picture everything so clearly it had my heart racing.

Ohhh... I can't wait to read the next chapter! I hope and pray it comes soon. :3

I knew something felt familiar when they talked about 'The Void' and thanks to your comments at the end, I remembered! I haven't watched the second movie in a few months, so I forgot the name of the sealed card. It's funny because I was listening to Ashita e no Melody and thinking about the ending when Sakura goes and jumps toward Syaoran, and now in this story there's mention of something from the movie. I'll have to go watch the movie again sometime now.

i just love the story and you you are a good fan writer and i love the story so far and i love why that yue think that his slave is broken and that he still love his sister and i fell sad of sakah because her love do not ask for her when yue told him that he can have anything that was his. he could ask for her. and they will be happy . i can not wait for the next chapter of the story and see what happen next to them . good luck on the story and get up the good chapter of the story. i love your story.and i think that you are a good writer. up date soon. your new fan ... cocoke5/

and man gittachi, I just checked out all those pictures...they're gorgeous!

I thought Touya was perfectly in character. People change dramatically when something serious occurs, like the almost rape of a sister. I am not surprised that he is bending to Yue's will now, because he has realised the threat that Yue holds against his sister. Who's to say Yue won't attempt to hurt Sakura again, if Touya is disobedient?
Are you going to have Yue go through the stages of realising that Touya's submission is not what he wants? Similar to how he reacted the time when Touya gave him the silent treatment? I'm addicted to your story. You should see me when I realize that there's a new update. I dance around the room and sing ^,,,,^ Todays is Friday so I think there will be an update today? I'm excited about that.
