Decided to answer the fans pathetic pleas, oh great one? Thank you, oh thank you!
Okay, I'll admit it, it hadn't even occurred to me that trying to escape would constitute a breach of the agreement, but thankfully Yue didn't actually do anything to her, so, whew! And I'm glad she didn't lose her walks, though I wouldn't be surprised if she's still banned the visitors and dance lessons for a while. And the collar turns black and/or comes off in just two more chapters?! YES!!! Ahem, I mean, okay then. Well, here's looking forward to #40, and then #41! Laters.

huh, rather mixed reviews so far...
Just my two cents(or whatever your currency-of-choice equivalent), but I found the punishment more than adequate. But then I can honestly see it from Touya's POV, having a younger sister myself. I'm nowhere near that protective of her, hell, in school she had a tendency to bop guys who pushed her buttons wrong, usually with blunt instruments(a lunch box on the bus once, a block of wood in the school library(didn't actually get to see that last one), etc.), but I would jump in if I could or had to. And if that had been me and Nans, yeah, I'd have cracked, too. Well, that's all I have to say on that. Oh, yeah, and Happy Birthday! Ciao!

Awesome ! But kinda sad? I would think that Yue wouldnt really want Touyas spirit broken. Isnt that his favorite part about him? That Touya was always fighting him every step of the way and it was a challenge. If Touya really, genuinely breaks, doesn't that take away the "stag like" fierceness that Yue loved so much about him?
I think that (and this is just me being drunk and guessing) that Yue is going to eventually offer Touya his freedom and he isnt going to take it. And somewhere around then is when one of them cracks and tells the other he loves him.
And on another note, I absolutely LOVE Ralen. He makes the story better. With such a coward asshole as a foil to Syaoran and Touya, he just totally rocks. He is always causing drama and starting shit. Hes always there to LOVE it when someone gets kicked down. Plus he is 100% yours. You made this total dick that everyone loves to hate. He is just as much alive as Sakura, and the series is NAMED after her. You really did a fantastic job with him and I have been meaning to tell you for months. He actually does run the castle well, the slaves are always well fed, and he helps keep Yue happy by staying out of his way. I think that he makes a wonderful character in your story and he helps the plot move along nicely. Yue hired Syoaran because of something he found in him and I can only imagine that he did the same for Ralen. Would Yue really trust Clow's precious castle to someone that couldn't handle the job? Of course not. The only person to successfully break into the castle (give or take Cerberus) was Touya and he has already been established as an extraordinary boy. Either way, I absolutely love it when your bad boy wins and I love it when he loses. His motivations are always easily read, he takes what he wants, hes as deep as a thimble, hes an overweight, selfish slob. Awesome job on him. Hes definitely the best character in the story that you made up. I dont mean best like "hes a really good guy and I want the best for him," hes the best because hes never boring. Your story rocks. All hail Ralen!!
Happy birthday!

**edit - when I said best character in the story you made up, I just wanted to clarify that I meant he was the best Capitalist created character, not the best character in the entire story. He may be one of my favorites, but even I know that hes not the best.
*** edit 2 - And about them escaping on his watch, if Ralen didn't know about the escape tunnel there is no way for him to watch it. And technically, since they escaped and went OUT of the castle... isn't that Syoarans bad?

This chapter is so sad (for a Touya fan like me)... but I still love reading it all the same...
I wish Yue would sooner or later realise that a broken Touya isn't what he wants the most... and would do something to get the 'not-a-slave' version of Touya back. Maybe it'll take Touya to do something drastic to himself (like how he got sick earlier after being locked up in Yue's room for too long) for that to happen? This is all my wishful thinking - to have Yue doing something to get Touya back the way he was and so on... [imagine how it'd be like if Yue has to force Touya to call him 'Yue' instead of 'Master'... or force Touya to say 'I'm not your slave' instead of 'I am your slave'... that'd be hilarious...]
Extremely impressed with your quick updates. It's so nice to check for updates every weekend to find a new chapter being posted. Many thanks for your hard work and please keep it up!!!

I apologize for continuing to double, triple post comments, but this story is driving me mad.
I have a few other predictions, and some analyzations I've come up with about these characters.
Like I said earlier, Yue is wind and water, and Touya reminds me of fire. If you look at it on as astronomy... Yue is very emotional. His automatic love for the wild deer and affection held for it makes perfect sense. Then there's fire, and fire can be brilliant, hot, passionate, and deadly. All three elements are extremely powerful and the fire in Touya has died down now. Yue poured his water to extinguish Touya's fire.
What concerns me about this is the fact the wild deer had that same fire. Yue doesn't feel that attachments to all the woodland creatures. He won't pick up a rabbit and want to take it home. Does Yue really want Touya to be completely submissive? Because, as water and wind, he's submissive himself. That is why he loved his Clow so much. His Clow was his creator and his lover and his master. He was Clow's. Would he really want to make Touya his? Isn't that why he's gotten bored with all the other past slaves? I think Yue's going to get sick of this behavior from Touya. Yue loves Touya's strength too much.
I have a feeling Sakura is going to go to Yue again. Who knows, maybe Yue will end up in her cage again. Although, I can't see Sakura as being comfortable as last time. But, I'm sure he'll have her calm down and apologize for harming her. After all, he DID stop. She just doesn't know why. We might even see Yuki again in this one. Maybe she'll convince Yue to listen to Touya, but with Touya being so submissive - Touya might have to confide in Yuki again. Who knows? Maybe that talk with Sakura will earn herself collarless.

Greetings. What can I say? That was heart-breaking. I really do not want you to take this as a flame. I know this is your story and you can do whatever you want to the characters, but I couldn't help but feel that Yue was particularly selfish and cruel while a fundemental aspect of Touya's character was destroyed. Nevertheless, I do have to take my hat off to you. You are truely good at your craft. I actually cried for Touya and Sakura when Yue was punishing them. If your goal was to pull on the heartstrings of all your readers, I don't think you could possibly fail.
You may think that I will never want to read your story again since the relationship (can you even call it that when it is soooo very twisted and broken) is so distrubing to me but rarely do I get to read a writer as good as you at setting up plot in advance. Therefore, I will most likely return to reading each chapter carefully when you start to develop the plot you've kept simmering in the background. When will Touya's powers develop and what will be the implications of that development? Where is Yue going and now that Touya is broken, will he ever find out or will he simply be forbidden from enquiring? Will the mystery that is threatening the castle ever reach its walls and give the people within them something more to do than practice swordplay in the courtyard? Is Clow really harassing Touya just to be an annoying, jealous prick or is there more to his visits? Is he trying to get more out of Touya and Yue? How can Yue ever heal from his own wounds and cowardise (fear of being hurt when loving another) if he has to take no chances with Touya because of his slavery? Will he never recognize that love which is coerced is empty? Will he never recognize that by taking away Touya's dignity, rebelliousness and pride, the being that he has now is not the Touya he was so facinated with in the beginning? It seems unfortunately that the only person that seems to change drastically is Touya. While Touya breaks, Yue fails to heal. I imagine that those elements of the plot will have to be on the back burner a little bit longer for you to deal with issues such as Touya's regresion back into chains and absolute captivity. By the by, like I said I don't want you to think of this as a flame. You are a good writer and I will come back to your story if you don't mind my slight difference in opinion. I just can't take the sadism and pain. Imagine taking joy in the breaking of a spirit you admire. The very thought horrifies me. It seems perverse if not necessarily perverted. Perhaps Yue is more human than he realizes. Perhaps it is Yue that is broken beyond repair. As they say, misery loves company.
