Everything is laughably OOC and insufferably whiny. Neither Sano nor Kenshin showed ANY such disgustingly overt affection to Kaoru in the ORIGINAL WORK. Face the facts. Fuck this shit, be honest and write a self-insertion fic in which every male falls in love with you if you crave the attention but this is a bucket of vomit.

No matter how much I love Kenshin/Kaoru fics and how partial I happen to be to them, I\'m liking this story. Ah, poor Kenshin, he isn\'t going to win, is he? :(

I\'m still chewing on how mature Yahiko is... I haven\'t swallowed it yet, but I\'m sure it\'ll go down eventually. The moment between Sano and Karou was sweet, then bittersweet. I can\'t for the life of me figure out how you\'ll end this, but I\'ll hang on...

Oh!! This is so heart wrenching! I\'m trying really hard to be ok with a Sano/Kaoru pairing but I really just can\'t see Kenshin and Megumi going together. I mean the age gap is slighly smaller but eww... I just don\'t know what you are going to do with Kenshin if she goes with Sano. I just can\'t see the dojo without the redhead...*sigh* well I guess I\'ll just have to wait and see what you do. Yea, well I think everyone needs a helicopter and mysterious woods to hide in. ^_^

Ah, Megumi-sama! She really is my goddess, and thank you for that monologue. Sano should be in town picking a fight to kick someone\'s ass right about now. You\'ve made Yahiko much more insightful than he ever was in the anime, but hey!... You can keep this going forever, I\'ll keep reading.

Hey, another great chapter, I\'ve been following this on MediaMiner but have not been able to review because I do not have an account (and it doesn\'t allow Annonymous reviews either), but I love this story. I know its a S/K, but now I\'m almost rooting for K/K anyways! LoL, well, I can\'t wait for more updates, they are pretty fast, and I enjoy this story immensely. Great work!

I think this is the most in-character rurouni kenshin fic I have ever read. beautiful job with this. It\'s heartbreakingly honest - I especially loved the interaction between Kenshin and the bandit (his conscience with a sword ;) )
Even though this is a kaoru/sano fic I feel bad for kenshin, and I love it that I do. Beautiful writing, that it is.
