This fic is just fantastic. The events you created to fill the gaps between what we've seen and what we haven't seen are completely believable. It certainly helps that I love the Sano and Megumi pairing. :) Just wanted to say good job and thank you for the great read!

snif. very good story!! *clap clap* one thought that entered my head as i read was, it\'s a little too bad this story is so exclusively rated (not that i didn\'t enjoy all the steamy parts entirely too much... hav have a great style there, not ickily sentimental; i havt ret read that many pocketbooks, but i think your way of writing is quite original.), because all the kiddies are missing out on a very well-written, very intelligent and thoughtful story. your love for all the characters shines through. i especially commend you on your depiction of Kanryuu-time Aoshi; he keeps making me wonder, is he heartless--or not? does he care--or not? quite a talent there for probing a difficult psyche and exposing it eloquently. i mui must say the last part with the arrival in kyoto was a little bit of a mental shift though--suddenly all the characters are there, with the kiddies and baggage, in a whole bunch of paragraphs tacked on at the very end. rather an abrupt gear-shifting for the brain that might be improved by splitting it off into a whole other epilogue, maybe? or at the very least, indicate clearly \"epilogue\" (or the equivalent) at the head of the section so we readers can pause a bit and rearrange our heads. (after all that scrumptious lovemaking, we kind of need to. ^.^) so sorry for a long and kind of blithery feedback. but all in all, a strong, splendid story.

Excellently written. Everyone is in character, and it is written so that nothing is farfetched, everything is believable. You kept Sanosuke what he is- a warm-hearted ex- gangster, you kept Aoshi what he was, an onmitsu with a cold heart that needed to be warmed, and you offered an introspective look in Megumi. If you have written any other Sanosuke and Megumi fanfics, send them to me, and I\'ll review gladly. Email= imabuttercup@hotmail.com

Thas..as...interesting. I absolutely love your writing style. It just captures all the emotion of the characters. The situation with Megumi and Aoshi though...there is indeed some awkwardness there, y\'know? ^^; Oh, who cares? Awesome fic!

Very sweet at the end, poignant at the beginning and all around very well written. i very much enjoyed this story of yours, that I did. i don\'t think the pairing of Aoshi & Megumi to be all that far-fetched at all. I personally don\'t believe they were meant for each other romantically, however. . .there\'s no mistaking that they\'d make a striking couple and the tension between them could easily be interpreted as sexual.
All in all, well done. I truly did enjoy this.
Keep up the excellent work!
