Very well written! I agree with you Goku in a lemon most of the time makes me cringe, and because of that 5/9 tends to be one of my least favorite pairings. You wrote it so well that you just sucked me in.

All too often this pairing is handled with a flippant air, which has it’s good points, but I really like how you let the bickering and juvenile behavior get suspended once things turned serious. And yet! True to form, once the moment had passed, that known relationship dynamic came back -- good show!

I think your characterizations are very well done. You have a good mix of child and man in both of them. Gojyo being the playful older brother that can turn tried and true friend in a heartbeat and Goku being the kid that in a flash becomes a man. Good show!

The pace and flow of this chapter was excellent. The verbiage was grand!

Is it just me or does everyone just love a water scene?
