This is my way of saying “Thank you!” for the review that posted for me, but I also have to say that, since this story is your response to the same Dark Hunger challenge that has inspired May Day, if you had not posted this, I might not have posted May Day. ... I guess that means I owe you a double “Thank you!” :-) Credit needs to go where credit is due. I wonder what has become of old Dark Hunger since then? I know that she / he is still at AFF.

Though you have a few grammar goofs in your text, the story itself is a short, sweet tale that looks at what might have happened if Brendan (Seth, if you prefer) and May had hooked up, though you take the point of view of them having met just as people, not as Trainers and neighbors. ... What I liked about this story when I originally read it was the fact that it dealt with the game version of Pokémon, not the anime. From the beginning that you provide, I was able to follow the trail back to the original challenge, and from there to other \'fics posted in response to it, finding a bunch of game-related stories where I thought none existed.

In other words, thank you for getting the ball rolling, RAW. I hope to see more \'fic from you in the future. For now, I salute you as a fellow fan of Mayfic.
