It was excellent. I like how you were able to make Pirotess seem nonchalant about wanting to murder certain people but at the same time make her a hopeless romantic. Likewise, Ashram's character was handled extraordinarily well albeit less driven than he should have been.

It was a good ending, but at looking upon the story in its full context, Ashram would have realized that there's no way Pirotess and him would have been happy and safe together without assuring Wagnard's death. He is, after all, on the verge of reviving Kardis, and it took both Beld and Fawn's sword to keep Deedlit from being sacrificed.

Anyway, good writing, good story, and decent characterization. Still, while it feels complete as a romance, it doesn't feel complete as a story.

What the hell... I liked your story until you started to use the words "Cock" and "Cunt..." Completely killing anything romantic about it.

A very good story, based on a sadly neglected anime series. Like most Lodoss fans, I fully agree that the villains- mainly Ashram- were the best thing about the series. It\'s also ironic that the relationship between Ashram and Pirotess had far more chemistry than Parn and Deedlit had. Parn was obviously gay anyway- he had a blonde elf girl hanging on his every word, but he only had eyes for King Kashue?

The story itself was definately one of the better short adult works I\'ve come across. Most authors, if writing this story, would have had them sleep together in the first chapter. You strung it out long enough to make it believable for them to come together, and to make the story more than just a one-post PWP. Very good work.

I\'ve always thought that Ashram and Pirotess were the only pairing I\'d be interested in from the Lodoss War, and it\'s good to see that someone else thinks so too.

It pleases me to no end to actually find an story, particularly one of such depth and quality, centering on the great Lord Ashram and the ever lovely Pirotess. Congratulations on a great read! ^.^

One of the best, and unfortunately, one of the most rare stories out there. >.< I have been waiting for a good Ashram/Pirotess story for quite some time! You\'re writing flows nicely, and everything is explained with such detail. I truly hope to see more work from you, RoLW related or not. ^-^ Good job with this story. The whole *disipline* part was great, lol. ^-^ I think it\'s fun to make the characters try so hard to win a losing battle.

I agree: Ashram and Pirotess were much more interesting than Parn and his group. There is a distinct shortage of good Ashram/Pirotess fics, so thank you for adding to the fandom. ^_^ Write more!
