I really liked this fan fic. For your first, it was very well written and picking the Twelve Kingdoms to write about was awesome because there's only one other fan fic about it besides this one. Good job and keep writing! I look forward to that sequel you were talking about. ^_^

Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. For your first fanfic, it is beyond the skill of many veterens and extremely impressive. You have a wonderful mastery of words, that when combined with your grasp of the Twelve Kingdoms world/characters, and your own creativity, yeilds a very artful and addicting story. Your original character, Shiryu is well thought out and he blends perfectly with the other characters, a feat that is not easily achieved. I hope to read more of your work and to see this sequel of yours. ^^

This is the first fanfic of The Twelve Kingdoms that I have read so far and I have reading a lot of other stuff. I really enjoyed it. There is plot and detail. The romance is not the main focus but it adds favour to the story. The sex scene is not the best I have read but for a first, it is fine, though I have to wonder, Shiryu just lost a lot of blood to the point that he swayed on his feet, how did he manage to have enough blood to spare for his... em... lower parts, let\'s say. Still, I enjoyed it very much, especially the detail in the training, the consequences of the training in Youko\'s everyday life and the fighting part. These are really good! If you want to write more on that and not the sex, maybe fanfiction.net would be a better place for you to post your stuff. I don\'t think this story is NC-17 so maybe you can just post it there, it has a wider range of readers so you can get more reviews, or to be safer, you can also edit it and delete the sex and still post it. Sorry for being a busybody but I couldn\'t help saying what I felt might help.

Amazing! I have just started watching The Twelve Kingdoms and really love it -- your story was one of the only ones I saw based on it, though.

This was pretty interesting and had good characterization. I couldn\'t remember if the sword master guy was in the series or not, so kudos to you. He seemed good enough to be in it if he\'s an original character. You should request a Twelve Kingdoms category, this fic is too good to languish away in anime misc category oblivion. It also might encourage others to write Twelve Kingdom fics. I think the FAQS section of the site has how to do it.
