really great start! Very exciting, the action scene done well. Your use of description makes the scene easily visible, something that marks a well told story in my book. Just as a thought - the youjixaya yahoo group might enjoy this story as well if you want to consider joining & posting it there.

This so far is interesting. I like the ambiguousness of the situation, of how your don\'t really know who is talking or what the situation is or the status of the characters. You seem to have a very good way with words and emotions and making a situation seem desperate. Writing descriptive and fast paced action is another of your strenghts. Great work so far, I\'m looking forward to the update.
