thanks for finally finishing this story. absolutely loved it! the twins were a suprise, but i'm so confused about the Jin/Fuu convo at the end. anywayz, great job!

Yeah, A unexpected finish. Woohoo! Normally i'm able to predict things, even movies are bad about that these days. Most being remakes and everything. Feh! And secondly, yes we, as americans, reply WAY too much on the internet. I'd just lie down and die without it.

I hope a continuation or sequel will be appearing in the near future
because I want to see Mugen as an awkward father. -grins-

I'm on chapter 2 and it's excellent! I love it! Mugen is so perfect! So is Foo. You have a knack for character! I can just tell this is going to be awesome. On to the next chapter then!! XD

I've read this whole story, and it is well-written. Unfortunately, I found myself not liking Fuu or Mugen. The way you've written them, they are very unlikable people. Jin is virtually invisible. Based on what I've seen in the anime, while Mugan is hardly what could be considered "gentlemanly," he certainly is not the bastard he is in this story. And Fuu is much more the innocent in the anime. Personally, I found myself wanting to slap her until her grandparents felt it because she was making some really, really stupid assumptions and decisions based on those assumptions. Yeah, it's all very plausible, because there really *are* people like her in the world, but I just don't see it if you go by canon.

I probably won't read Blinding Oedipus. You do, however, have a lot of potential as an author - after all, you did get me emotionally involved (although probably not the way you intended). That is the sign of a good author.

no, i did not expect twins...but it's better this way. Mugen would feel all...macho, as you did put in the story..XDD can't wait for more SC stuff from u!

to tell the truth, i never really thought of any couples for this series, until i read this. i never thought Fuu 'n' Mugen'd be any good as a couple. but you put them together, as natural and loyal to their characters in the series as a fic CAN be!

from the diction to how well the words FIT each character as their points of views were shared....you did it all with fireworks shooting up and lighting the skies in the background! it was PERFECT. never let anyone tell you otherwise!

Well this is the first comment I have made and the last as the story has ended. This is the most amazing Samurai Champloo story I have ever read. The charactors were simply wonder and the plot was great. I hope to see more from you in the future ^^.

Wow, okay, so. I haven't reviewed this fic since you took that break due to your car accident (which I am so, so sorry about by the way. Cars are terrifying.) and, well, jeez. A lot's happened since then. I still am of the opinion that this is one of the best fanfics out there, not just in the SC section. You know just how to portray the characters - everything was perfect. And horrible, as well, which is sort of what the show is about. You're not afraid to go for those nasty descriptions and just really freak people out, which is wonderful because it helps one understand just how the character's can do what they do. And although you are able to show the nasty, ugly sides of the character's wonderfully, you also delve so deeply into their heads that you end up liking them anyway. I thought I would never like Mugen again after you made him kill that poor woman's husband - but, surprise, I did! He's really sort of endearing once you look past how out of touch he is with normal morals and decency, and you definitely made a point of showing that so that the reader could still experience your story without hating the characteres too much. His undying devotion to Fuu was cute, if not hard to understand at times in contrast with the rest of his personality, but of course it did all seem to make sense at the end when he felt like he finally had something to protect. The last line was really heartening, too. Sorta made me happy. Fuu and Jin's relationship was depressing but realistic - sometimes love works like that and it just sucks, although I have to say I ended up being more peeved that she still liked Jin so much when she was with Mugen now, rather than sorry that the two couldn't be together. You really made me a diehard Mugen/Fuu fan, interestingly enough... not that I wasn't to begin with. Also, the scene where Fuu has to watch her ex-lover get executed? That was done sooo well. I was totally squirming and feeling sick to my stomach. I don't know what you have in store for the sequel, I can't imagine a better story than this, but since you seem to have such high expectations for it I can't wait to read it.
