I truly loved this story. The one thing I have trouble with concerning this anime is which is my favorite character. Mugen or Jin? ::grins:: If I had to choose I would way Jin.. I love the silent, strong, sensitive, mysterious and sensual type. You captured all of that in Jin. Bravo!!!

Good job! I like your story, and I absolutely love the Jin/Fuu pairing, especially since there have some moments in the anime that would back up the pairing. But, I really must tell you, that the word you used for Fuu\'s clothing was wrong. She would be wearing her kimono or more likely her juban (under-kimono), since she probably wouldn\'t be able to carry around a yukata (cotton kimono that is worn to sleep or during the Summer) to sleep in if she\'s traveling with nothing but the clothes on her back. The obi is the belt that is tied around the waist to keep the kimono together. So, knowing this, I think you can quite easily picture my look of shock and the blush that formed on my face when I read that Fuu walked around the inn and entered the room with Jin wearing nothing but her obi! It was quite amusing...... and would have been incredibly sexy, but when I read further and saw that Jin didn\'t have any peticular reaction to this, I figured you might need a little educating. But now I\'ve said that, I want to once again congratulate you. Good job.

Well, I\'m just getting into Samurai Champloo, too. And I\'m a big fan of Jin in general (damn sexy I say), so I was happy to find this fic among all the Mugen/Fuu ones on ffn. And of course I had to check out the lemon version. Overall, a great story; the way they get together is plausible and believable and in character, except for the bit about confessing their love, which I don\'t think would happen quite so quickly. The version at ffn is sweeter, and I think it shows Jin\'s gentle side more realistically, and is more polished overall. Not that I don\'t like lemons; it\'s just that after reading fanfic for a couple years (various fandoms) it seems easy to fall into euphemisms and romance-novel cheesiness. Please don\'t think this means I hate your story; it\'s loads better than some of the dreck I\'ve sludged through; I just think descriptions like \"massive erection\" sound...not natural. I just can\'t picture anyone really thinking that. Maybe I\'m wrong and some people do. Whatever. Just my opinion. I like to help people become better writers; that\'s why I review, though I think it\'s pointless if I don\'t point out something you\'ve done well or something that could be improved. On a related note, I don\'t think \"obi\" is the word you want to use here; the obi is the belt that ties around the waist and keeps the kimono on. Wearing only that would look really funny, though! Fuu would wear a yukata underneath her kimono or to sleep in. I found a cool article on kimonos at wikipedia that describes all the parts of the kimono and the differences in formality and between men\'s and women\'s, if you want to check it out for future reference.

Whew...I need a shower after this! ^_^ This was a good one shot, though I\'d love to see Mugen\'s reaction to finding the both of them in such a position! * snickers * The look on his face would be priceless! ^_^ Until next time! ^_^
