This is good. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. The characters are realistic and it's an interesting installment into the lives in HMC.

Cute and very entertaining. I like how you kept everyone in character while still keeping it comical. Please update soon.

Actually, you my friend are incorrect, technically. Markl is the incorrect re-translation of Michael Fisher (Howl's apprentice) from the katakana spelling of the name. Basically Michael was translated into japanese spelling and pronounciation (Mai - Ke - Ru), from the english text of the orig. novel, Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynn Jones, then retranslated back into english from the japanese when the anime was dubbed into english. So actually, going by the book, and the katakana in my artbook, the name is correct as Michael. Not to attack you, just my soapbox on proper translation. Just because Disney say's the name is Markl doesn't mean it's correct, since the name is clearly the katakana for Michael when written on japanese merch. I do find this inconsistancy interesting however, since it's basically a big version of telephone.

This is an excellent fic beginning, but one thing that's driving me insane, and I must tell you. You keep writing "Michael", but the kid's name is actually Markl. Great story though!

That was really good! And I agree that there aren't enough Sophie/Howl stories with added lemony goodness. The book is something I read recently and I loved it jsut as much as the movie, though they really are COMPLETELY different. Sophie's a bit less mousy, more of the spitfire I prefer in the book and Howl is more interesting.

I'm sorry to hear of your break up, those always suck. I hope you can get more written on this at some point soon. I really like it.
