*Slips out of the lurker shadows* Very well written. I love how you can carry the tension so far. I loved the suspense and I even think you could consider them fully IC. Of course we all envy Kaoru.. who wouldn't want a former assassin with personality issues *chuckle* My only regret is that we didn't get any darker. I see a lot of possibilities for dark fun with these two. But hey I don't review much and you got my attention that well. Good job!

Oh. My. God. I need a frickin' MOP to pick myself up with 'cause darlin', you made me MELT! Ran across this fic by chance, looking through sections I haven't read in awhile. You made me remember why I loved this anime and Kenshin so much. Your Battousai is...just...WOW. I'm a total Star Wars geek, but this HAS to go in my reccommended reading. Very nicely done. :9

For a first time fanfic that was awesome! I love Kenshin, but I have slacked off on the reading them because they have no original plots anymore it seems. But yours was a new take on an old theme, and it was very well written. I can\'t wait to see more fics from you if they are all going to be this good. Keep up the good work! This was one of the best Kenshin/Kaoru fics I\'ve read in a long while.
