You updated! I was afraid you might have forgotten this story, as I just found this within the past month and have caught up to where your at currently. This is probably the one of the best Blade of the Immortal fanfictions I've read, where manji and rin are actually written *in* character. I hope you continue this story, as I'm wondering how it will turn out with this new development :)

Wow... Um... So I've just read all the way through the whole story. *cough* >.> <.< >.> This has been interesting. You're really knowledgable and a very good author. I found myself barely able to look away. These last chapter I much say are depressing. I loved the beginning with all the light hearted bickering and such, but found the lastest very very dark and unhappy. I want nothing more than for Rin to say fuck it, tell Manji she loves him and for them to have sex in the good ol' fashioned way. Of course I'm thinking that the story will end far from that. I really want to know what will happen, I'm anxious. When I seen 48 chapters I thought "these are going to be short and crappy chapters" oh how I was wrong! Given that there isn't much in the fanfiction world of BotI, I have to say you're one of the few authors in the fanfiction world (in general) to write so well. I'm very impressed and look forward to reading more.

I can´t believe Rin could fall for that crap! They want to marry her, to a man that she don´t know, do´t love. She wuold be better with Anotsu that I don´t think was the right choice. And what a horrible persons took Rin in. So prejudice, really ugly. And where is Manji? I know that he had to gave her up so she could be healed but is he really gone? Would he leave her for good? When will them admit that they love each other? Even form themselves? When will Manji make Rin his? That´s what we all want. So please, bring us the second part of this chapter. I Would love to see Rin and Manji encounter again. Maybe have some sex hehehehe.

This is shaping up to be quite the story! If I wasn't intrigued before, I'm surely now! And I've been following this story for more than a year! Congratulations, you're a wonderful writer. I have to admit it's getting a little harder to read through the chapters though since it feels like it's going a bit slower and the level of detail into Rin's thoughts gets more intricate.

Can't wait for the next one!

At first I want to ask you t forgive about my not so good engish, tis is not my first language. But it will not keep me for revewing. :-) I was looking anxiously for this chapter...but now I´m so desapointed. How could Manji give up on Rin. This was soo not Manji way. And about Rin, in the others chapters, the way she is so forward to marry Anotsu...What can I say: I forseing sorrow and pain nothing else. Poor Rin will marry Anotsu problably to be murdered later, afterall she still is a samurai, poor Manji will not find redemption because he fails in his mission to protect Rin, poor Maki always will be a second in Anotsu´s life even if she is what he would like to be. Poor Magatsu will have to deal with Anotsu/Rin marriage, well mabe he will kill Anotsu for traitor, and in a strange way Rin will have her revenge. You are a fantastic writer, with a very good plot. The best I have read about Blade. And because of it, I´ll always read this story. So keep writing, I´ll be here to read it and comment.

What a wonderful gift. This chapter is so cool. Only with the Rin´s death so close would Manji open his heart. The way I see it, he really think that she don´t ear anything o what he is saying. And when he try to take her to a doctor, so beautiful. But I really don´t understand or hope I don´t understand...Did Manji really try to cut off his DICK!!!I hope I read it wrong. Because if he is seeing her that way, like his litlle sister, so if she going to be ok he will never take her affraid of to dirt her.I love this story and I will ask you, isn´t about time they two be together? Intimatelly together? Them they can deal wth all the loose ends...but they almost lost each other...it is time to start to live...Again I love this story, can´t wait for the continuation chapter...You are a great writer. This is the first Blade of the Immortal fan fiction that I have read that I actually really enjoy. It funny and very engaging with Manji and Rin's relationship. I just love their interaction with each other. I certainly can hardly wait for the next chapter so update soon, okay?!

OH MY GOD! I really don´t know if I wanted to Manji fuck Rin non sense or not. If he do it they will finally have a new path of worry and problems. If they don´t do it they will be stuck in the same page. Altought I hope that when Manji take Rin he could choose a batter place for her first time and even being rude as Manji is show a little kindness. Afterall we all know that he really care for her. And Rin should use Manji´s jealousy of Anotsu and provoke him :-) Would be fun ! So....what is happening to Rin. Did I miss something? Did the arrow poisoned her? Did the little worms go in to her blood? What would it made of Rin? Would it kill her? I love this story and being fallowing it from a long time. Please keep writting. You are great and this story rocks. Congratulations for another fantastic chapter!

Poor Rin... After forty-three chapters she finally has Manji where she wants him, more or less, only to suffer from a piercingly disappointing case of coitus interruptus...

Okay - I stumbled upon this story when I had the sudden urge to see if there was any BotI fanfiction out there. I have no idea why I thought it - maybe the medication I'm taking for my viral flu fueled my boredom, and made me think of it. Anywho, the point is that I found your story, and decided to give it a shot. I had no idea if the quality would be good, as it has been my experience that fanfiction derived from anime/manga is somewhat childish. Forgive me if I sound snobbish (*snort*), but I've had bad experiences. Trust me! Now, onto my actual review; I don't want to bore you with the ramblings of a sick woman for too long!

This may sound terribly cliche, but in the haze of medication, I'll be damned if I can think of a better phrase, but... mortal words cannot express how much I love this story. Honestly - your writing style and quality is top-notch, and you've managed to draw me into a story and get me even more attached to its characters. You've certainly dashed all fears of rank fanfiction out of my mind! Your characterization of Manji and Rin is spot-on, your fight scenes pull no punches, and your diction is superb. The fact that you started this piece nearly three years ago and you're STILL working on it is mind-boggling; a lot of authors would have given up by now. But I applaud your tenacity, and I applaud this story. You've got a gift in writing. I shall be bookmarking this story and waiting for another update. Of course, I'm going to be honest and admit that I'm looking forward to another steamy altercation between Manji and Rin, but hey - that's the pervert in me talking. And I wouldn't mind a few more visceral scenes to appease the twisted sadist in me. What can I say - I'm a girl of simple pleasures. And I do so love cheering Manji on.
