lol, as soon as i wrote that i was like "wait, sake wouldnt ignite that easily," (although its not a fire fighting method i would put into farwide practice) anway i did like your metiphore.

This is a great story, one of the best fanfics i've read, and the first BotI fic ive ever seen. its very well writen and sometimes you forget that it's acctually a fic, only one small thing caught my attention, in ch 26 Rin puts out the burning coals with sand then douses it with sake, alcoholic and therfor flamable. did you mean for her to do that?
all in all though, its a great story!

I love it! Thirty deliciously long chapters and counting. I'm a fan of the manga and its characters so I'm just tickled to have found your sexy, well written story. Please dish up more angst and a love/lust triangle between Manji, Rin & Anotsu would be fun to read.

OH MAN! Friggin' sweet! x) I love how you pulled off chappie thirty and I totally love the bittersweet/angsty feel of Manji "dismissing" Rin. To tell you the truth, while I do completely sympathize with both characters, I got a bit angry at Rin in this chapter because of how she made Manji feel unwanted, if that's the word. But...on the other hand, he was sending her mixed ass signals the whole way out and being so young and all, I can clearly understand her confusion. BUT...I do think either way the fact he left her is necessary in some way because Rin may be able to really evaluate her morals and her feelings. If marrying Anotsu will make her happy or if not. Personally, I think this happening can make a lot of juicy tension between the two (if you will it, ;))
