In the previous chapter, the third footnote, wasn't that the woman that poisoned Mugen with the mushroom thing in one of the earlier episodes. -isn't sure if she's remembering right or not-

Just wanted to say I have been reading \"Secrets of the Heart\" and eagerly await each new chapter. I think you have caught the fact that both men are \"walking wounded\", emotionally, and can give one another more than anyone else could.

Just wanted to add that the whole peppermint oil thing gave me a *great* idea for a story, so I had to come back and say thank you!

Hot as usual, my dear, but I have a question. Peppermint oil...up the ass?!? Yikes! Girl, the volitile compounds in oils like peppermint, clove and eucalyptus are *really* intense. There is a high menthol content in them and they burn like something awful on sensitive tissues. Think of how toothpaste tingles in your mouth and you might get a sense of how the actual oil might feel in such a sensitive place. Since you didn\'t go on to describe Mugen shrieking after said application, I\'m thinking you\'re not aware that you might want to switch the oil you\'re using to something benign (i.e., a real cooking oil and not an essential oil). Otherwise, lots of great mush and I can\'t wait to see what you do next!

Okay, I\'ve been consistently asking for reviews on my few fics so I figure I should probably put out too! I liked this fic enough that I read all the available chapters one after another, and the prologue fic too (grand total five) and I\'m disappointed there isn\'t already more! I think this could developoe into a pretty good story line if we get more plot to it. I know how PWP can somehow turn into a fully developed arc. Keep your muse fed!

Fun and romantic. I think you\'re doing well here. As for their clothes, Jin wears hakama, so that is right. I always call Mugen\'s pants pants, because they\'re not really hakama. There has been much discussion about what Jin\'s wearing on top on the Amalgam site, the conclusion being that Jin wears both an ankle-length kimono and juban that tucks into his hakama. So, I\'ve changed my own fics from gi (to the hips) back to kimono, for what it\'s worth. On Samin\'s site, she has a drawing of Jin dressing/undressing which shows what he\'s probably wearing on top. Great site!
