I just must say that I love this story! I'm really sorry I haven't said anything sooner, but... well, that's just excuses. I'm reviewing now! Half of me want them to work this out NOW, the other half (the slightly stronger half) want them (or Dee, in particular) to keep being hesitant. I'm just a sucker for those kinds of fics... =o) Anyway, hope you update soon!

AAAGGGHHH! You must update soon or I shall DIEE! Ahem. Anyways, this is a fantabulous story. The angst is wonderful (Me loves the angst!) and the characterization is SOOOO perfect. I love Dee's nervous fear of rejection, and him trying to hide it with bravado. That's so him. And Ryo being confused and clueless is also very him. I just can't say enough good things about it. The plot is simple, but perfect for getting into the nitty gritty of the psychological aspect. You are incredible at that. I love it, and I hope you update soon. YAY!

Sweetie, not to be pushy here, but it's been over three weeks. When are we going to see an update of this hot, smoking, tender, passionate love story? Hmmm? Inquiring minds want to know! :D

Ch. 8 I'm not surprised Ryo is still hesitant. Unlike Dee, he hasn't had years to come to terms with his sexuality. Reading the "Fake" novels I often felt disturbed by Dee's pushy, overaggressive behavior, behavior that would have been termed on- and off-the-job sexual harrassment. It's no wonder Ryo got jumpy and nervous around him. (Although, from what I've seen in other yaoi magazines, such behavior between semes and ukes is pretty standard.)

It was also frustrating to see Dee asking about Ryo's feelings but only in relationship to himself. It was always, "How do you feel about ME, Ryo?" "Do you like ME, Ryo?" "Are you thinking about ME, Ryo?" And then he'd sulk or pout if Ryo wasn't as forthcoming as he'd like. Geez, was he self involved! So in my opinion, it doesn't matter if Dee thinks Ryo should acknowledge their relationship; it's now up to Ryo to do so. Dee can have as many talks with Ryo as he wants. But it's ultimately Ryo's decision. He's brought him to his surrogate parents. That in itself is a big step. Screw Dee's hurt feelings for a change. Let him think about what coming out means to his partner.

That being said, I really love your story; the above is my personal opinion not critique of your writing style or how you choose to take the plotline in future. (The sex is smoking!!)

...That's SO sad. I sort of want to give Ryo a good kick in the butt. It takes two to make a couple, dammit!!! :-( No wonder Dee is insecure.
Oh, PLEASE let this have a happy ending. ^^
I really enjoy the different p.o.v's on the situations. Really well wriitten, so keep up the good work! :-D

Ch. 2 I only discovered the "FAKE" series recently and thought it was one of the hottest things I'd ever read. To think that I've been missing this for so many years! Yaoi rules! Anyway, your story carries on from the end of the series very nicely, getting the characters down in a few words and the sex and sexual fantasies are totally hot. I'm going to try to get back to this story and review it soon but I've only got three minutes left at this computer. Toodles! :P

That is so not fair! LOL I was really enjoying this and still am. I am really and truly blown away, as to how well written and descriptive this is. I feel as though I am really there witnessing every detail. Very erotic in a... uh, sensual kind of way! You've successfully managed to stay true to the characters original personalities, which I've noticed not many people can do, when writing fanfiction. 5 stars from me!
